  3. You're the best, Rich! You are my go-to site.

Thank you for keeping us informed and for being an empathetic friend of us ex-KGO listeners.

  4. You deserve it, Rich. You were the only one writing about this, when there was a virtual media blackout everywhere else. You helped us get through the worst of it. Many thanks, and congratulations. Let's hope better days are soon ahead and we can find reasons to celebrate again.

  8. Congratulations. We need a site to read media news.
The local papers have abondonded this industry.

  9. I heartily applaud others' sentiments.

INDEED, there has been an almost total silence on the KGO firings in all other media.

YOU have provided us with much needed information and updates. I appreciate it.

  11. Keep plugging away young man! While we sometimes disagree, your passion and take on the local media scene is refreshing and
without peer. I am a regular reader each day and I know a lot of other folks who also work on-air in the local media check your site out frequently.

  13. Congrats and thanks, Rich! I agree with 12:15... you ROCK!

I started coming here solely to follow the KGO debacle that no one else was talking about, but now I find it interesting to keep up to date on all the other local media news that you provide. For many media issues, I find out about it first in this blog.

I also enjoy reading the comments that are posted below each blog entry. Though I wish that some respondents were a little more circumspect in their use of F-bombs. Not that I've never heard the word before, or that it's below me to use it from time to time, rather that I think it's sorely overused these days.

  14. Yes, keep this thing a rollin'! Great info. Sure would be great if some of the folks at the talked about radio stations could also post some comments. I know a few have, but would be great to hear more from them. Please oh please kind wonderful nice people at our local radio stations...do drop by and tell us what is happenning and how people are dealing with this and what plan you have.
    Thanks!

  15. Rich,

Thanks from me too, another long time KGO listener kicked in the teeth on that fateful day. I enjoyed hearing you on KSCO shortly after the KGO debacle, and have followed your blog faithfully ever since.
