I still haven't seen anything regarding that blue dress Darya was wearing a couple of Mondays ago! Damn, that was a hot number, I'd have left a stain on that blue dress! Darya needs to take Justine shopping! Sucks Kristy is leaving, but we still have Elizabeth (even though Rich hates her), Gasia, Heather, Diane, Justine, and anyone else I'm missing! Hey, CBS, go see if Susan Siravo is interested in replacing Kristy, we want our eye candy! And Susan may be even hotter than Kristy!
The Barry Bonds verdict-Your faithful correspondent had hilarity watching ch7's somehow falling to pieces! First,I was late to tune in..and caught the new young female noon anchor finishing.Apparently Rich,she said something not on her script,Eric Thomas,in a huffy way told her "Well,you stole my thunder as I was going to say that."..LOL! THEN-they cut live to the courthouse awhile later...again,confusion. Terry McSweeney-who seems a decent guy- handed off to Vic Lee,off camera- who had no idea it seemed he would be asked to speak..and Vic looked more confused then I've ever seen him in near 30 years. First he said "Thanks Jerry" LOL,to Terry,then Vic ..while cameras rolled,took time to thumb through his notebook to tell us the sentence. The very sentence the anchors had just told everybody of 30 days,etc! Wow,I would hate to see ch 7's coverage of when that asteroid hits Earth!..If they panic and bite each other over Barry Bonds..lol signed, the masked 'S'
Whether that's a too-young-for-prime-time Jared or not, who would you rather listen to? Dr. Bill or Ronn? I always downloaded Dr. Bill's shows but rarely downloaded Ronn's, which is not a hit on him. It's just my personal taste. If they are head-to-head in the same time slot? I believe Dr. Bill will trounce. Ronn's life is full of materialistic pursuits. A former gambler (as materialistic as one can be given the vast suffering in this work, which Ronn's shows only occasionally focus on) throwing away money because he can, new cars, new gadgets of every kind, etc. The life of privilege while neglecting the spiritual, which would have given him the internal stamina to tell KGO to stuff it. And, yeah, I've resigned from a well-paying job so I didn't have to work for an unethical publisher.
12:05 pm is typical of the kind of lame-brained, juvenile nit-wits who now pass for adults in the country. I guess he never had a normal childhood because his parents weren't around to give him enough attention, nor teach him any respect for the other sex.
One of the reasons so many young people today are so cynical, is that their parents probably were too busy always working, or selfishly indulging in their own pursuits instead of doing things with their kids, or worse, separating and traumatizing their poor children along the way.
As a result, they weren't around to give them the love they needed or teach them the life lessons that would be so valuable later. And that includes (of course) teaching them not to denigrate and objectively another human who happens to be a female.
It's funny, but I hear a lot of baby-boomers complaining about these kind of 'gen-xers' and members of the 'millenium generation' (as if they weren't partially responsible for it!).
But if you ignore your children, or perhaps even worse, leave them in front of the boob-tube or let them play video games all day instead of engaging them, getting them outdoors, or showing them the joys of reading, many will unfortunately end up like the lost soul at 12:05, who sounds like he's about 15 years old! (maybe he is!)
I wonder how 12:05 would feel if someone said the same things he just stated, about his own mom or sister or girlfriend (if he's even lucky enough to have one!
But then, I guess t his is why so many girls and younger women in our society today are having plastic surgeons work on them to give them artificial enhancements...turning them into partially fake and not completely real human beings. They have such low self-esteem because of these pea-brained imbeciles, that they think they can attract men by becoming fakes. And the sad thing is, men will actually go for that for awhile until they realize the woman has got some major negative self-esteem issues.
Sad too, that like many young guys, such as our young friend have to follow their 'little heads' (which are usually smaller than most!) than their real heads! But I guess that's another reason why there are so many unwanted people in the world...probably like 12:05pm!
Incidentally..I'm a grown man who has a daughter, so you can see why I find his comments so asinine, juvenile and stupid! But unfortunately there are a lot more idiots like this young fool out there in thiscountry! l

I find it interesting that the Dickey Brothers have seen fit to leave the conservative voices at KSFO largely untouched (to the best of my knowledge), while performing a pre-frontal lobotomy on the intellectual talk staff at KGO.
Given the Dickey Brothers' own ultra-conservative political leanings, has anyone given any thought to the fact that by knocking down KGO forty notches, the Dickey Brothers have virtually silenced a longstanding voice for political independents and progressives in the Bay Area?
Personally, I think that's what's behind much of what's going on. Ultra-conservatives like the Dickey Brothers are buying up as much of the American print and air media as they can get their hands on. Are we headed toward a time when you either get conservatively-slanted "news," or you get no news at all?
For now, we at least have the Internet. But I'm sure there are plenty of those moneyed conservative voices who would love to stifle that outlet as well. One more step in the dumbing down of America.
Joe: it's still up. I tried to listen. I've heard lots of bad radio over the years. This is among the worst. I honestly could not listen to more than 10 seconds of Kay Zwerling's commentary. Since there is no way to fast forward, I was unable to hear Ray Tallifiero's reaction. I can only guess that it involved him trying to wrestle one of Kay's Colt 45's away from her to shoot himself in the temple, or maybe him clawing through the rat-chewed packaging of KSCO's bomb shelter rations to induce death by botulism. Kudos to you, Joe, for suffering through this on our behalf. If nothing else, the KGO debacle is calling attention to one of the last mom and pop (right, mom and son) broadcast stations anywhere near civilization. Unfortunately, the Dickey Brothers could not have invented a more perfect argument against locally-owned independent stations.

I'm glad dipshits 12:53 and 4:01 have a place like this, where they can act all high and mighty, and seem intelligent, yet the truth is, especially in 4:01's case, they're losers with no lives. What jerks! KGO has removed most of the negative comments. They say they want feedback from the listeners, but they lie. I can't believe that, in a few short weeks, I've gone from loving KGO to hoping it dies a long painful death. A station that helped define the bay area is now nothing more than a glowing example of everything that's wrong with corporate America. I hope the new format fails miserably, it's crap and deserves whatever it gets.
Good radio? Not when it comes to KSCO. Especially when an ego-inflated and hyper Ray Talifiero goes off and screams at a 90 year old woman who happens to be the owner the of the station. Yes, she had no business putting herself in that position in the first place, but it was horrible, ego-inflated radio at it's worst.
I can't believe that Michael Zwerling sat there and let his mother, who he openly referred to as "Mom" take the punches from Ray. It was insane.
Karel hated what Jim Gabbert said about his on Saturday from 10-Noon on KSCO. Gabbert said that Karel is "Stupid ... but entertaining and denagrading to KGO." Karel mentioned it and played a part of the interview on KGO Saturday night. If I was Paul Hosely, I'd have FIRED him for that. Denegrating, indeed. Gabbert is still listed on the KGO staff director.
Karel also, in his childish 10 minute outburst, also had to "call out" Gabbert as "openly gay" and kept repeating the "Stupid but entertaining" line throughout the night, like a little girl. He also claimed that Gabbert was "just jealous because he doesn't have a regular shift and I do."
