Rumors

*KNBR Paulie Mac's soundboard will interview 49ers coach, Jim Harbaugh. In exchange, Harbaugh promises he will listen to all of Paulie's 5499 sound drops.

*KGO's Ronn Owens will defer his manicure/pedicure appt. for at least a month. Subsequently, Union Street will suffer a 60-day depression.

*Brian Copeland, he of ABC's "7Live", will author a new book: "Not a genuine funny man." Already HBO is planning a pitch session to see if the book can make it to cable. "We should know in a decade", said a spokesman.

*Larry Beil is considering to implant a lifetime "super" set of hairplugs. Dan Ashley is providing guidance.

*Amy G is running for President of Comcast. "I want to change the world." She's enlisted just-retired Gamely Bottoms, past chief aide to Herman Cain as her primary adviser.

*Gary Radnich and Larry Krueger will star in a new local indie movie, "Touched by an Angel." Radnich will, (for the 99th time), write the script. Krueger will bet the house that 99 people attend the world premiere at Tommy's Joynt.

*Bay City News is accepting employment applications at the city's pre-schools in the marina.

*Louisa Hodge has joined Da Lin at KRON's witness protection program.

*Speaking of KRON, which is looking to sell its 1001 property on Van Ness, the station recently hired Rose Pak to see if they can grab that cool loft on Grant Ave. near Sutter, right next to the law firm, "Dewey, Cheatem, and Howe."

*"Check Please", KQED's restaurant show is trying to go into the hood. Eaters will invade "Nate's BBQ" out on Folsom. "We're not just the volvo crowd", insisted a PR person, Brittany Whiteblood.

*Jan Wahl just ate all the hats at John's Grill.

*Both Tim Kawakami and Lowell Cohn are starring in a new movie: "Blogger? We didn't even touch her!" There's a hang-up. Lowell wants Grant to be his body double and producers are playing hard ball.

*Bruce Jenkins just resigned as senior writer for the SF Chronicle. He'll be joining the LA Times as it body-surfing editor. (How "disturbing").

*The SF Giants are planning a cool, 2012 promotion: Henry Tannenbaum bobblehead night.

*Ryan Leong is doing sports updates from the top of Mt. Davidson for the entire holiday season.

*Kevin the Rat, in a new move toward solidarity with PETA, is now known as "Kevin the Spotted Owl."

*KCBS sports anchor, Steve Bitker, will say "good morning" to members of the Bay Area Taliban on his daily updates. "Good morning Stan, good morning Susan, good morning Kim, good morning....and so on."

*The State Farm radio jingle will be played in eternity to condemned murderer, Scott Peterson. Peterson, in return, will execute himself.

*Karel will tear up for the 6545th time on KGO this Saturday. "If you don't buy my book or pay for my comedy shows, I will lose my house, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah....."

*Dan Dibley, "social networking extraordinaire", has proclaimed to Bay Area fans: "What is radio?" I'm just a tweeter, not a fighter, (@humility @soccer @957thegame #vegansrock!)

*Follow me on Twitter and pay for my xanex!

  1. Maybe Pauli Mac will speak English for once.
Maybe Pauli Mac will speak like an adult male instead of some teenie-booper trying to impress his friends with the latest slang.
    Do I hear Dude . . . anyone?

  2. I got to admit the shots at Henry and Brian made me laugh-and I like them two as people, nice guys. I dont know why-Henry's especially just a walking target for zingers-lol.
Lay off Leslie Srbrocco-every time she calls an ugly guy "Good looking man" on her show-with a tug of their arm,I'm more in love with her. She's ALL woman.

  3. To this day, I have no idea what Pauli Mac does,I know he has had tax problem and he does Steve Moskowitz spots, and he only talks about music, Greatful Dead, 3 dog night, Seriously does anyone know what he does. It seems that Murp does 95% of the show, Mac does not interview either.

  5. Big Nate's isn't on Divis. It's on Folsom. The restaurant I assume you're referring to is Da Pitt, or formerly Lilly's, which is on the corner of Divis and Grove.

    KNOW YOUR FU*#$!NG NEIGHBORHOODS, RICH!!

  8. How about to keep his job like he did in 2005,Larry Krueger will again grovel and apologize to anybody even related to the Cohn family?. "I will even lick the fur on Lowell's cat's fur to shiny clean if you don't fire me again"..Krueger even has pants with extra knee padding he's done it so much...

  9. The Paulie Mac gag was pretty funny (the guy's a no-talent tool), but the rest was a bit of a head-scratcher. Were you drinking, Rich?

  10. And since I know 95.7 reads this blog(yeah, yeah,Dibbs sent me a subliminal message to "those " who think he and Kreidler dont get along?-they ARE friends he insists...)
I think that music theme of "Questions for Kreidler" is classic. Sounds Rocky Horror show or a touch of Helter Skelter. Who came up with that weird stuff? It conjures up the idea somebody strange somewhere is playing it nonstop...

  11. Ralph and Paulie Mac would be a nice couple.

    Both single dads with kids.

  12. Paulie Mack is on the air because he comes cheap and is happy to have a job to feed his family. He was actually fired by one of KNBR's sister stations and was working as a DJ in Sacramento (A job he was well-qualified for) when KNBR brought him back to help fill their 'black-hole' in the morning show. So don't blame 'Paulie Mack' ...blame KNBR management for being cheap and unimaginative in hiring him back,
