A good source tells me that KTRB, (860 AM,) is going to a Spanish, All-Sports format.
Details are sketchy at this point. I don't have all the financials, but will pursue.
As soon as I know more, I'll post.

This is great news for all of us under-represented-Spanish-speakers. La Grande 1010 used to have a 1 hour sports show but it was cancelled for some unknown reason, it was an excellent show.

ReplyDeleteAy Caramba.
ReplyDeleteAll they have to do is run a continuous loop of Andres Cantor yelling "GOOOOOOAAAAALLLLLLL!'...and I'll listen.
ReplyDeleteKNBR and 95.7 have no worrys about losing a Latino on air artist to KTRB. They have none. Or Asians. Or African Americans..unless you consider log cabin member Rod Brooks a minority.
ReplyDeleteWonderful......JJ Stokes en espanol! I hope his Spanish skills are better than his Wide Receiver skills!

ReplyDeleteThose sanctuary cities are working wonders for the local economy. Too bad Mexico refuses to follow our lead.
ReplyDeleteIt will last about as long as 92.3 KSJO's all spanish format did....
ReplyDeleteRick Tittle En Espanol....Oh Boy...LOL
ReplyDeletesadly, a growing trend...anyone who believes there are only 12 million illegals is a fool and hopefully we'll get a president in 2012 who will finally slam the door shut on the border and throw the owners of Hormel, Tyson, etc in jail and eliminate their welfare benefits(yes, despite what lefties claim, illegals are getting benefits) - then we will see the invading illegal mexicans go back to mexico....adios!
