More Ground-Breaking Programming on Comcast' 'Chronicle Live'

Another epic hour of minutiae on "Chronicle Live," courtesy Lowell Cohn of the Santa Rosa Press-Democrat. (Cohn loves quizzes!!) And that Comcast check too.

Tomorrow? What Papa and Reiss wear to Giants' games.

  1. Yep,no mention of Huffs drunken outing as reported in Deadspin. That reminds me of the never mentioned Lacob attack on non season tickets Warriors fans..or questioning about his "investigating" those fans.
ChronLive is the anitheseis of the paper Chronicle. Its like KRON 4s infomercials during newscast..just so unethical and sell out.

  2. Also,on Lowells blog,I tied to ask as Lowell pushed Brian Murphys "must read" on last season's Giants,if Murphy did any investigating on Lincecums huge weight loss-to the upper 140's I would say,at most, to his present near 180.
The answer of course is an obvious-no. REAL sports investigative reporting is dead in the bay area. The Giants would devour any local reporter to prove Lincecum has issues.
As I said,I tried to post that pointed post-twice,only to have Lowell delete it.
So,when Lowell is afraid to upset the Giants...

  4. Lowell said I insulted his friend Murphy. Not that I said anything untrue though. Murphy IS a shill for the Giants..I wouldn't doubt his KNBR salary is paid for by the Giant's as the Warriors do for Fitz and Brooks. Didn't Radnich say that Murphy was given a ring by the Giants just like Kruk and Kuiper?..for team employees.
Murphy may have been a sports writer the equal of Lowell many years ago at the SRPD,but now Murphy doesn't say or write anything that wouldn't have the approval of Larry Baer.
And nobody can censor my knowing that.
