We hope there will be postseason games to broadcast.
ReplyDeleteYou can also hear country on KRTY from San Jose to San Francisco. Just don't want you to forget :)
ReplyDeleteGood for the A's - They will be on a station that is clear all over the bay. I cannot get 1550 in San Jose.
I hate the country music. Now I have to use a car radio preset for them?
ReplyDeleteFor sure the second tier of presets-FM2. I sure dont want to surf past them when I want to hear real music.
What a class organization!! Nothing like signing your MLB radio rights on the day before opening day.
ReplyDeleteGood lord. Pathetic.
ReplyDeleteWhat a joke this outfit is. They skip from station to station every year and wonder why no one listens. They bring in mediocre talent year after year and wonder why no one cares.
ReplyDeleteThe Wolf
ReplyDeleteThe Eagle
The Band
All these corporate radio branding ideas crack me up.
What happened to KFRC? Get the story wrong or is it such a barely taped together organization at the A's that they don't know what they have from day to day? And it is a shame this wasn't settled earlier so they could get the word out and promote the station.
Regardless, I'm glad we'll be able to hear them and word of mouth will have to suffice to let fans know about where to find them.
Although I do have one question: Do we now refer to the station as The Wolffe??
At least it's not KALX.
ReplyDeletewhat a joke....didn't the A's make $20 mil or so last year thanks to "profit sharing"....
ReplyDeleteNothing says "Oakland" like Country Music.
