SF Appeal loves Bay City News Service, They Really Do

SF Appeal is an alleged "online newspaper", but a quick glance and scroll down the story count reveals most of its "content" is nothing more than a rehash of Bay City News stories.

To be fair, SF Appeal is not alone in that dept., only a tad less transparent given the journalistic provinciality in this town.

Oh, by the way, did I mention Bay City News? I did.

Lots of real chatter regarding the old local wire service that 99.9999999% of the Bay Area media outlets rely upon to report those stories that they used to read in the morning Chronicle.

We'll talk about BCN later today.

  1. In fact, they're quite transparent about it. Very much so. SF Appeal is a great site. You've admitted this much to be in the past during more lucid moments. I have to wonder why, out of so many lesser sites out there, you selected Appeal to pick on, a site that has a female editor/founder at the helm.

    Some things, they never change.
