You may remember Rick Quan, the ex-KPIX weekend sports anchor who has been filling in the past year around the corner at KGO-TV.
Quan was on top of the Mike Singletary firing and lead both Sunday and Monday evening newscasts. "A quiet Sunday night quickly became busy --Monday I wound up working a 13 hour- day, covering both the Jed York news conference and anchoring the sports!"
Quan isn't complaining: "It was kind of fun being back in the saddle after all those years at KPIX."
From what I have gathered the Quan-Radnich one sided fued is based on two things-that KPIX chose Rick over Joe Fonzi 20+ years ago (Like,how's thats Rick's problem? and wouldn't have Joe not hesitated to take the job and unemploy Rick?)and something about a Radnich flunky upset because Rick reminded him he's been doing this for years-and that was about a decade ago. And we all know Gary would never mention that he's been doing his act for decades to a pushy newby.
ReplyDeleteAnd third-Radnich for whatever reason said something about,he just doesnt like some people. In essence,no reason. He just doesnt like them.
