You knew it was coming. I sure was expecting it.
Shortly after the Giants loss to the Phillies in Game 5 of the NLCS Thursday night, KTVU, the Fox affiliate, carried a post-game show and had reporter, John Sasaki interviewing an obviously intoxicated Giants fan outside AT&T Park.
The fan threw out a full-course "shit" word live on KTVU's airwaves. (Nervous laughter audible.)
Give Sasaki credit for making the fan apologize, which he did, all the while other various inebriated leather lungs screamed in the back ground.
The greatness of live and local TV at its post-season best.
Couldn't have been Timmy. He only drops the F-Bomb on the air. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd whose idea was it to do the Comcast postgame show in front of that rowdy mob, mugging for the camera? The analysts and guests can barely hear themselves speak.
ReplyDeleteVideo?
ReplyDeleteI thought the same thing last night. I was about to change the channel then I saw him turn to the drunk and thought this could be good. Too bad the drunk apoligized. Would have been great if he said "FU man I don't get paid for this S---!"
ReplyDeleteDoes the station get in trouble with the FCC for this?
Useless liveshots
ReplyDeleteI could see this coming after the guy used the word "ass" a couple of times early in the interview. When you interview a drunken slob from Modesto, what do you expect?
