Lee Rodgers gets $237G from Citadel; severance deal

Lee Rodgers has reached a settlement from Citadel for a little more than $237,000.

Rodgers contract with KSFO was not renewed a few months back and the notoriously anti-union morning host got paid off, with an assist from AFTRA.

Good thing he paid his monthly dues.

  2. Uh, not to be a rain cloud on your parade, but if, like me, Lee worked in a CLOSED shop then he had no choice (save for not to work at the station) but to pay his dues. And since dues are supposed to protect all the workers, not just the ones that have the same political bent, I am not seeing how this is hypocritical

  3. Thats "If" as you said. And why severance? that's socialism. Lee would tell you -work, get paid for your work and when the always right big business gets rid of you, live on what you saved. Why is he entitled to $230,000?..it's all he says he's against. Money for not working.

  4. LEE bashed unions for all his career and stuck up for big corporations, then goes hat in hand to the Union. Limbaugh, Savage, Jerry Doyle, there are several 60 year old white guys making a buck on radio still. Look at Paul Harvey and George Putnam, worked into their 80s. Rodgers would have liked to have stayed on I'm sure.
