Hmm,sounded so different then-just like your typical ex jock sports guy. Arrogant in a chip on the shoulder way then-as opposed to the wisened neocon sports host infighter he is now. I did like he hadn't developd the endless cackle back then though.
I lived in Columbus during his sting there - he was a strong sportscaster there, and it wasn't surprising when he moved on to a major market like the SF Bay Area.
He was pretty awful. Looks like the kinda of guy that'll screw you sooner than look at you. Was that a younger Pete Wilson next to him? I miss Pete Wilson.
