A tribute to my brother, Michael Landau, 1954-2000

Ten years ago this morning, Jan. 31, 2000, I lost my only brother, Michael. I cannot believe its been a decade. Truly, he was more than a brother; he was a Dad that I never had, an eternal friend, a mentor, and an extraordinarily talented, funny, honorable person who died much too young. I miss you Michael and can only... tell you there is never a day I do not think about you. RIP, my brother. Michael Landau 1954-2000.

  1. Michael was more than a mere mortal... he was this force to be reckoned with. Somedays he was charmingly coy and exceedingly witty... other days he was cynical and sour. He could charm people into doing unimaginable mischief or chastise them for being dour and middle-class. One thing Michael never was... was boring. He was on a mission to defy tedium. He was out to entertain the most critical of judges; himself. He never struck me as the "father figure" type, Richard. But I loved him and miss him achingly. -Richelle
