Steve Paulson is a fine weather guesser for KTVU's MO2; The Monday Start

Steve Paulson
Steve Paulson is my kind of weather guy. He understands that life is not on the line when explaining the mega issues of high-pressure systems and the marine layer, (which in weather-speak is "fog.")

Paulson, the meteorologist for KTVU's "Mornings on 2", keeps it straight and simple. That's still a good part of the Channel 2 business model. No-nonsense trumps zany antics. Not that Paulson ventures into any form of Al Roker territory, but the point is, he broadcasts the weather, keeps it tight and clear and generally makes a fairly good prediction.

He's also part of the dapper suit society that makes up the Armani contingent at KTVU, (Somerville is leading the post, with Ibanez just down a length.)

In any event, I like Paulson's understated delivery and calm demeanor. In that category too, Paulsen is quite the broadcaster, ever professional, and adept enough to throw out a few sly lines every now and then. It's a subtle signal to the morning viewer that he understands his role and thanks Steve, we get it.
