Raj Mathai on the passing of Daryl Hawks

Raj Mathai, news anchor at NBC Bay Area who worked with Daryl Hawks, who passed away suddenly, Thursday, in Chicago commented to me.

It was a difficult day in our newsroom.
Daryl's energy was contagious -- and his love for his family was so pure.
I just can't stop thinking about his wife and two young kids.
He will be missed in several newsrooms around the country...from the Bay Area to Chicago...Raleigh and Palm Springs.
