Comcast; a Bobby Fitz moment; You don't have to be a misogynist to hate Jan Wahl and Kate Scott; Saturday notes

*Bad news: Labor strife threatens Warriors/NBA season. Good news: Less Bobbie Shitsgerald. Giggles, aka, "Rudy", had a fun week. Notre Dame won and the Dubs introduced a new team exec. Rudy got to put on his latest brown-toilet paper act. He's downright giddy. Watch out, Andris Biedrins, he's hovering.

*Nice to know my Comcast trolls are in full frontal assault. Memo to the morons: I was never told that I wasn't invited to appear on Bombcast Live. I simply decided to quit trying to kiss a lot of collective ass and deemed it better, far better, to speak my mind and, not beholden to the upper suits, give straight-forward, unbiased opinions about the dweebs on Third street. There are some who are hard workers and do good work. Ted Griggs is a good guy. He's caught in the fire. I don't like a majority of the "Insiders." And the "Senior Insider" is nothing more than a negative bully who thinks by being an asshole curmudgeon, he's royalty. Not. Urban is cool...personally, but his act went south many moons ago. Amy G is so bad, she's good. Jaymee Sire has perfect teeth. Damon Andrews thinks he's Bryant Gumbel. Scott Reiss is more detested than a non-appointment at DMV.

*The world won't end if Ralph Barbieri is not in the mix at KNBR. But the pizza at Amici's will be dough-less in memoriam.

*You don't have to be a misogynist to hate Jan Wahl and Kate Scott.

*Speaking of which...Kate Scott makes Dan Dibley look like a young Andy Rooney.

*Bruce Jenkins new gig: president of the SF Giants booster club.

*Dear Greg Papa: Bill King didn't go bonkers on the TD call if the Raiders were down 24-0. And when the Warriors were making jump-shots and lay-ups in meaningless games, Bill referred to it as "garbage time." Take note, Mr. Syracuse broadcast alum.

*At KTVU, the toxic fumes in the newsroom are increasing, courtesy "Special Ed". So much so that management is mulling and SE is in the cross hairs.

*Can someone fucking explain to me the relevance of the "only FM sports station?" Yeah, great stuff. Shit content and east-coast assholes with zippo appeal on stereo. Maybe you should call the Pope and ask for a medal.

*"The Sports Saloon": rather listen to a Adam Meyer karaoke session.

*Lowell Cohn, Art Spander, Glenn Dickey: "Wineing for dollars."

*On message, on topic, and infinitely readable: The SJ Merc's Tim Kawakami. (See, I do like someone).

*"Where's the beef?" Ray Ratto's mumblings on Knibber

*Count the number of times Raddy says "At the end of the day" each day. And dear Larry Krueger, sure, it's OK that you've decided to tame it down and go soft, courtesy Felipe Alou, but do this: quit kissing your partner's ass. He's on that long walk on a short pier status at Cumulus, just like the Amici's guy.

*Speaking of Amici's: it's about as authentic an "east-coast" pizza as a "Noah's" bagel. You don't bake bagels without BOILING them first and when you SMOTHER sweet-based tomato sauce on a pie, you get a SHITTY pizza, like Amici's. (Try Arizmende in Berkeley/Emeryville and/or Tomasso's in the city--better, and cheaper too...and close to Staten Island-like pizza).

*Underrated and better than bozohead "Byrnesie": Ray Woodsen. Yeah, he's a bit sullen, but anything beats hyper douche schmuck who forget to touch the plate in the 2003 ALDS at Fenway.

*"People behaving badly": the entire KRON morning show. (Can we get another traffic update?)

*This just in: Larry Beil, Kevin the Rat, and Dennis O'Donnell in a SF ACT performance: "The Mod Squad."

*Attention, interns at Knibber, KGO Radio and KRON: when sending in anonymous troll e-mail, be sure to figure out a way to omit the IP address.
