It was the right thing to do. Free speech is one of the most important pillars of America. As long as Kimmel isn't threatening anyone, he's free to say what he wants. It should've never gotten to this point.
No. That's not it at all. It's astounding how so many people don't understand the concept. Kimmel works for a corporation. They determine what he can and can't say on THEIR platform. He can walk outside the building, stand on the street corner and enjoy all the free speech he wants. But once he walks back inside, his bosses call the shots. Why don't people get this???
@9:37 I think that goes without saying. Everyone works under the parameters laid out by their employer. I think Kimmel has made more controversial remarks in the past, but this time his employer felt the heat, thus the decision to suspend him.
This has nothing to do with that no-talent idiot Kimmel. Goes way beyond that. Try Nextsars 6.2B anticipated merger with TEGNA. They are still in limbo with regulatory approval of FCC and the Justice department. Retard was the sacrificial lamb. Still is really. Just watch and see.
It has nothing to do with Kimmel. All late night shows are hurting. People don't care to stay up late to watch network programming. Shows on streaming services are much better and can be watched at any time.
Last time I checked Disney paid Kimmel. His ratings SUCK. They have the right to fire him. They are not a charity... they are losing $40+ million a year on his show. And local affiliates were revolting due to his controversy. It is not a free speech issue. He can go start a podcast or substack account like everyone else. No where does the law state that private companies must lose money. As for kimmel, he stopped being funny after the Man show ended
His ratings tonight will be his best ever. It be interesting if Gutfeld ever went up against the 2 Jimmy’s and Colbert. His ratings would be in the toilet since most Fox viewers are well in bed by 10 pm.
Disney supports Democrats and got Gavin support in exchange for putting Gavin future ads on every commercial break
ReplyDeleteToo bad, was hoping we'd seen the last of that no talent clown.
ReplyDeleteIf you didn't want to see him, why did you turn on his show?! Duh..

DeletePrediction: Trump will soon begin his barrage of tyrant Truth messages in ALL CAPS.

ReplyDeleteAmazing, losing audiences, unfunny, vile human of a being and the Disney "rat" brings him back, no balls

DeleteJimmy who?
ReplyDeleteWe watch all the late night monologues early on YouTube
ReplyDeleteSinclair is shutting it down. They own almost 60 affiliate stations in major markets. No, J.K. Show!
ReplyDeleteSinclair is practically bankrupt. They own a small number of poorly rated stations in tiny markets that pay terrible. Barely clinging to life lol
DeleteAdd Nexstar
DeleteDon't matter. Programming doesn't mean Jack. It's the licenses.
DeleteDisney folded. Some flabby dude in DC is going to throw a hissy fit.
ReplyDeleteABC has no balls, either that or it's a stunt to increase his declining audiences, either way not watching
ReplyDelete55 year old plus community happy now they can watch late night while eating soup and crackers again. Young demographics don’t care waste of time.
