Ronn Owens/Jan Black Called as Witnesses in Laura Owens Case

  1. If Ronn and Jan testify they will have to put their hand on a bible and tell the truth. No more propaganda from a friendly Chronicle reporter or Stonewalling Lieberman. May be they will be asked where the GoFundMe money is going.

  2. It is not at all apparent from the abbreviated documents you posted but it is entirely possible that Ronn and Jan have been called as witnesses to testify on Laura’s behalf. They should be very cautious to avoid falling into a perjury trap of their own.

  3. Well, the elephant in the room is someone in the family is paying both Laura’s legal bills and Ronn’s medical bills (if any) assuming in home care assistance or whatever is not covered. Laura lives at home; not sure if she works but is probably broke. If Ronn and Jan have a checking account for medical bills and another one for Laura’s defense team, how can the go fund me money placed in the account for medical mean all is kosher? I know not a Jewish expression but surely all have heard of “robbing Peter to pay Paul”. What difference does it make if they take in money to a segregated medical checking medical checking account, money can be moved. Common sense. I bet they have no such segregated account; who does that? By the way, the reporter should have asked to see the unpaid medicals; not asking some lame question like “are you really using the go fund me money only for medical costs?”
