The Election from Here

  1. I'd rather vote for a scarecrow than vote for Trump.

  2. Rich, I'm in the same boat as you.

  3. When your entire first term administration fails to endorse you in the current election, that alone should tell you how little faith they have in their candidate.

    1. Ho hum, Trump isn't a politician when he won in 2016, lots of bad advice for cabinets, plenty of back stabbers, when he wins he'll be better prepared on who he'll pick, see lots of good candidates already

  4. None other than Democrat strategist James Carville coined the phrase “it’s the economy stupid.” Before Covid affected the entire world, does anyone think they are better off now than we were in the Trump years?

    1. I am. If you own your home, have a good job and in the stock market then it’s gravy. If you’re worried about potato chips being 40 cents more than 4 years ago you made poor life decisions.

    2. The Trump years, yes, I remember how he denied it existed, then mismanaged Covid, causing thousands of deaths, then the economy tanked. Then he attempted a coup by trying to illegally steal the election, which he lost, and encouraged his mob to storm the US Capitol to stop the certification process. Fun times. I already voted for the person who didn't attempt a coup.

    3. 10:02 people act like Trump was the first one to contest an election. When Hillary lost, she demanded recounts, cried like a baby and then encouraged “faithless electors” to vote against the candidate they were pledged to

  5. Harris gets in by default, her policies are terrible. Folks are turned off by Trump and can’t run elsewhere. Very sad state and paying celebrities millions to say vote for me.

  6. Wow, you just opened yourself up to a lot of the Trump nuts who flock here to bash the “libs” every chance they get. Trump good, Democrats bad, then talking points not well versed in context or in many cases fact. Usually conveyed in the same classless or worse way as their secretly hoped for czar to protect them from anyone not wanting to believe their racist arrogant diatribes or blame games.

    1. Having a hissy fit because American taxpayers refuse to pay for your gender reassignment surgery? @9:16

  7. Hey Rich, you realize obama, biden and harris don't "support" Isreal like Trump will? I have a feeling you're what Trump describe as "unloyal" American Jews like schummer and sanders, get off the "loyal dems" and wake up

    1. I would literally vote for anyone over Trump.

  8. I will be ecstatic to no longer hear the bullshit of “campaign promises”.

There is very little a President can do about inflation, about other countries’ wars, about cheap foreign imports.

But as the world powers continue to gear up for WWIII, you can see a war is coming, and things will get UGLY in record time. For example, imagine the bay area flattened by a barrage of missiles. Oops, there goes your investment in Bitcoin, and that $2 million dollar home in Marin.
I am glad I had my fun - next stop is an irradiated dirt nap in Sonoma County.

    1. Funny, you sounded like you came off a dirt nap being so far behind in critical thinking

  9. If it is all about the economy and energy prices, then Trump wins going away. Not sure how Harris wins by default since Trump makes the economy better hands down. The fruit cake is Kennedy with his brain farts.

  10. Rich you mentioned you don’t always like Kamala’s answers. It is her non-answers that bother me. Is she in favor of Medicare for All or against it? In favor of mandatory gun buy backs or not? Should tax dollars pay for transvestite surgery? She has been on both sides of all those issues (and more). Like him or hate him, at least you know where Trump stands on the issues

    1. Yes he stands for giving billionaires tax breaks. Enough of him and his buddies ripping us off.

    2. Well said. Just like with Hilary losing when the polls said otherwise, this race is not neck and neck. Trump with his bombastic lies will again win, fortunate or not.

    3. Both candidates are terrible. Let this election be over, so we can all get back to some sense of normalcy.

  11. A new Des Moines Register poll just came out giving Harris a 3 point lead in Iowa. It could easily be a Harris landslide come election night.

    1. Polls don't mean a damn except for those running them to make themselves feel important. Trump defied the polls with lower Hillary, and the same garbage voters will give him a win again.

  12. Trump is looney tunes, but what I don't understand is why the Dems never ask themselves why half of America sees them as no better of a choice. And no, just dismissing Trump voters as stupid is not the answer - they really need to ask themselves what is they are doing that turns so many people off.

    1. Republicans voting for Trump are a cult. Just like Jonestown. I call them gullible.

      Delete
    2. 12:42. So you do realize that Jim Jones preached 'apostolic socialism'. Yep. Praised the maniacal rants of Mao, Hitler and Stalin. They were his hero's. Sorry lemming. You lose!

    3. Son lives in PA...got his vote in for Kamala. But fears Trump will win because there are enough people in PA who do not feel comfortable with a women being President. They'd prefer a convicted felon. It's a different world back there.

    4. 12:42 and 10:58 make my point. It's personal attacks on people who could be voting Dem and no acknowledgement of what they may be doing wrong to turn so many people off. As I stated above, Trump is not a good choice, but how bad a choice must the Dems be to lose in a landslide to him. Their hubris just won't allow them to ask themselves this question, and ironically may be the answer to question.

  13. Kamala wins in a landslide. Congress goes back to Democrats and Republicans take the Senate. Trump goes to jail within 2 years if he’s still above ground or not in a nursing home.

  14. Voting for Trump, how come no one talk about Covid and reopening normal back to the office work??? LOL they want to convert vancant office building for the poor to get future votes.

    1. I’ll talk about Covid. Donald Trump fumbled that. He totally mishandled the pandemic. He’s a looser.

      Delete
    2. @3:12 mishandling the pandemic is one thing, but he also downplayed it because he feared it would hurt his administration. The genius also famously asked if drinking bleach would help disinfect a person's insides.

    3. Trump sold covid tests to Russia and his buddy Putin.
