Greg Papa Poop with Silver; Embarrassing KNBR; Hawaii Fraud

  1. I understand that the evening sportsphone show, which hasn’t had a regular show host in some time is giving neophytes a chance to become radio “ stars.” . In return for the opportunity to be on local radio, they’re reportedly giving trade dollars to these schmucks.

  2. I tune out KNBR for a few days after the 49ers lose. They have 2 difficult games the next two weeks. I am not into Warriors. Its too early for the Giants. I do prefer the KNBR morning show up to a point vs Greg. It seems like Greg is doing his 49er play by play during his show. Just asking. They should have found a female vs the Silver guy. 3. It is oddly strange that Brian Murphy and Adam Copeland are laughing in Hawaii while their partners were given the heave-ho. Talk about Bad Optics.
Another reason to change the channel while they shuck and jive over Mai-Tais and rum pineapple.
    These fools are tone-deaf.

    1. What's even more weird is Copes copying Tolbert's 'beer' intro. Who would approve that in light of Tolbert's dismissal......

    2. Copey copes will have his step mom sue you if you keep talking that way

  4. Rich you hit the nail on the head !!
Papa is LOUSY but he’s the best of a bad bunch.
    Papa is NOT:
    Kevin Harlan
    Keith Jackson
    John Madden
    Pat Summerall.
Papa is second tier, maybe even 3rd Tier. If the Niners canned him tomorrow, not many Niner fans would cry. Assuredly, he’d be on the first flight to Vegas to see if he could blow Mark Davis into hiring him.
Too bad KNBR paid for round trips for Copes n Smirk. They should have left them on Nihau for eternity.

  7. Like father, like son. Big mouth with no talent. I bet Silver is out of a job by January.

  8. I think the trend for sports teams is to go away from terrestrial stations and broadcast online only, so I can't see the Giants buying KNBR. The A's experimented with the online format last year for the pre/postgame shows. They haven't announced their broadcasting station for '25 yet so they may go 100% online.

    1. Yep, Flem mentioned streaming broadcasts recently:

  9. "Greg Squared" as they called it is plain awful. If they wanted to go cheap, having Papa go solo would've been better.

  10. Papa when one 1050 awhile back could be a good host again if he did it solo. Guess the trend these days is 2 or more person sports talk?

  11. The A’s broadcast team is an absolute joke with the exception of Dallas Braden. Jenny Canvar is not even minor league Double A quality. She doesn’t tell you anything to the broadcast and has one of these annoying teenage girl voices. I don’t know who’s gonna take the place of Korach and Cotronio , but Fisher’s lapdog David Kaval will probably bring in some rank amateurs for cheap. Probably like that nitwit who works back up games on the road for the Giants and is doing San Jose Minor-league baseball. The guy sounds as if he just graduated from some broadcasting trade school. But even he is better than FP Ssntangelo who was one of Barry Binds steroid buddies. His smarmy, frat boy personality is not only annoying, it’s embarrassing. Why doesn’t he go night clubbing and hit on the 18 year olds who the bouncers let in so middle aged guys like FP can hit on them. .

    1. Braden is a loud mouth that speaks like he's paid by the word.

  12. Lets see if Sacramento and later Las Vegas attends the game in large numbers to see a minor league team but pay major league prices.

Good luck in the summer months when it gets hot.
