For national broadcasters, they should be neutral, but for local broadcasters I don't mind some homer-ism. Ray Fosse was a huge homer, but it created an atmosphere similar to watching a game with your buddies.
Sure, we could use another PBP guy “on assignment”. I guess the cheapskate Giants’ owners cause the talented ones to get a second and better paying job.
Rich you should have asked him about the A's job. Did he not want it? Made too much sense for A's to hire him instead of the pathetic choice they made.
Rich and his interviews are fantastic. I love Rich’s videos.

Roxy should come back to the A's.

ReplyDeleteFosse was not a "huge homer", look to the other side of the Bay for that.
Delete@7:04 they're all homers. If you don't think Fosse was a homer, just listen to his playoff PxP. He was screaming like a young school girl.
DeleteGreat stuff Rich! That was a fun interview. Roxy seems like a really good guy.
ReplyDeleteAgree with you Rich, the Giants should bring him aboard. Heard his playoff baseball for ESPN, he's really good.
