Wow! What a bleep show! KNBR is not going to make it thorough the end of the 49ers season. I've heard that they are going to be gonzo very soon. Smurph and Marcus soon: GONE! Dopey Kopes and his giggling hysterical laugh DOUBLE GONE! Tolbert, Jon "Igor" Lund, Krueger and his $100 hits GONE. KNBR is toast. Game over!
The end of KNBR has been on the front burner for awhile. I will listen again when they completely revamp their line up. Every one of the “hosts” needs to go. The brains at KNBR gave up giving traffic reports, stock market reports, hell reports on sports. One or two minutes an hour: “look out on 880 north bound, by Industrial guy is roasting marshmallows with a Tesla”. And “Nasdaq down .2%, Dow up .5%, S&P up .2%”. After all is is right in line with their betting touts ! But, the Niners are mid-pack, Giants are bottom 1/4 of pack, and KNBR hosts are bottom of barrel. “ Karz for Kidz is now taking Bitcoin, precious metals, real estate, and any tradable securities !!” Sheesh!
I saw the recent dustup between Jerry Jones (owner of the Cowboys) and some sports radio guys that interview him on a weekly show. Seems Jerry didn't like their "non-homer" questions.
It made me think of the terrible 49er guys (Papa and Ryan) and how they are also homers. But the Jones situation shows what can happen to team paid broadcasters that don't toe the line.
