POTUS Biden Statement on Campus Anti-Semitism Falls Short; KCBS Deplorab...

  1. Biden is a weak puppet who isn't fit to be President. The US is doomed with unqualified politicians and this year's presidential election is primed to be a complete $hit show.

    1. And the other guy attempted a coup, illegally tried to overturn the 2020 election with fake electors, and promised to pardon the "hostages" who were part of Jan 6th insurrection. I'll vote for the guy who didn't attempt a coup.

    3. 12:23. Pelosi sent them home. She was to busy coordinating her filming of 'Their' insurrection with her daughter. The behind the scenes video footage is classic!

    4. Trump didn't order the national guard to the Capitol and Pelosi had nothing to do with it. Do some basic research and stop listening to Trump's lies.

    5. "dems set up J 6", and the moon landing was fake and 9/11 was an inside job, right?

    6. @ 8:06 You need to go back to school, there's a difference between request and ordering, perhaps you're one of those protesting at the campus now and it's cutting into your education?

  2. KCBS has a few qualified reporters out at these protests, but the local TV reporters are mostly too green to understand what anti-Semitism is, so their questions are mostly generic in nature and lack any type of substantial follow-up to induce an intelligent conversation.

  3. I seem to notice/believe there aren't 24/7 field reporters anymore. It seems on the morning news, there aren't in-person reporters or even recordings during the previous night on the tv.
On KTVU, Gasia M. and Dave C. did all the talking with no live or recorded reporting done at a scene. For a fire, whether it was Gasia or Dave speaking, they did a good job with the verbiage, but only a still photo was being shown on the air.
Depending on the event, I suppose the reporters, such as Betty Y., will return to the studio to do the commentary. Perhaps the reporters go back to the office to write-up the story; edit any footage; and maybe change clothing.
The national folks apparently are traveling to the scene; getting lodging; having a camera-person; perhaps security person; and putting on appropriate attire to get the live interviews and letting us all know what they're seeing at an event (thinking of Nancy Loo/NewsNation or Aishah Hasnie/FoxNews, and many others).
A few years ago, I remember Janine DeLaVega out on the freeway in the dark, late night or early morning, on a story. I don't know if it was with KTVU or the later KGO-TV before she left tv news. Even longer ago, there was a Ralph Fladebo or several others who I can't think of their names or how to spell them.

  4. The US President has to acknowledge Freedom of Speech, but he must also acknowledge the rights of others to move freely, without being attacked.
In my opinion, which is worth nothing, stopping traffic on bridges will not win much sympathy for the cause. In fact, it has a deleterious effect on folks just trying to get to work.
Perhaps people should protest at the embassies/consular offices of the Combatants?
Protesting at City Council meetings is a clueless move - done by folks who simply want to make a lot of noise in the wrong venue. Further, if they are so afraid of being identified - by hiding behind masks and hoodies and shades, apparently they do not truly support their cause. Their involvement is neither gallant nor something they should be proud of - it is the “chicken’s” way out.
Take a lesson from Thoreau, don’t pay taxes.

  5. For most of these protesters, the protests are a big party and social event. They don't really study what's going on in the Middle East.

  6. Yikes, I came here thinking all the talk would still be about Betty Yu. Stay classy, pundits.
