Sad news pertaining Mr Nettles. I was just a kid but do remember him on KRON back in the day. I wonder how many other co workers the claw aka Radnich made cry with his incessant ribbing. I guess he was bullied as a kid for his hand so this was his way of getting back at people?

I was at KRON back in the day and I never saw or heard of Radnich making any one cry. That was not his nature. He could be slightly annoying at times but never with the intent to be cruel or mean. Not like SOME people.
No disrespect to the dead but Tom Nettles was one of the WORST TV sports TV anchors in Bay Area history. He was rude, self serving and egotistical. People who worked with him couldn’t stand him. He was also, ( as was Wayne Walker,) one of the laziest broadcasters around.
3:30 pm. Only a total loser would diss someone like Tom Nettles especially in the announcement of his death. Must be a real social idiot, you lack any courage to face the man in life but lampoon him here.
I remember Tom. He was a good sports anchor. His brother Graig is 79 years old.....man, time flies.
