I still remember how bitter Ronnnnn Blowenstein was when OJ was found NOT guilty. I wish he had shown that level of anger after the KGO massacre. I’m guessing reporters will go out to the Walnut Creek fountain today to report on the heat and the passing of The Juice
As a news reporter who covered courts, we were slowly making inroads in getting camera inside and convincing judges coverage would not be sensationalized. The O.J. Trial judged everything. Judges became skittish and it set coverage back years. I covered the Scott Peterson trial and the best we could get was audio for the verdicts.
I prefer NOT to see courtroom trials televised. I saw the egregious behavior of DJT as he played moronic victim in NYC. Had you or me or anyone else behaved in such a way we would have spent 30 days in Rikers for contempt of court. I hope they give him “the chair”
To this day, Betty Yu has never once divulged the reason for her leave. Neither has KPIX. So let’s assume for a second that your intrepid reporting is accurate and she indeed missed three months of work entirely because of a mystery illness she contracted in her “native Taiwan“ … why then are you divulging her personal health information when she herself has purposely chosen not to do so?
And if your reporting on this matter, which you have done since January, is accurate, then why the need for all the continued reporting on it? If it was a legitimate medical illness as you have reported then why all the months of tying Yu to the other ‘mystery’ and ‘bizarre’ leaves at KPIX if her leave was entirely medical related?
You likely won’t post this comment as it calls into question some of your reporting. Though, if you don’t post it that means you read it and it struck and nerve and triggered you… So either way purpose served.
