Rothmann is at home, resting, and dealing with "flu-like symptoms."
"He had a high temperature but that's normal now," said the source, who added Rothmann feels better but that he's considerably weak, still, and that he feels fatigued.
Rothmann was due to be off the air on Friday, anyway, to celebrate the Jewish holiday, Passover, which begins that night.
Exactly what my hunch was when Chris Merrill was suddenly there on Thursday. Signing off Wednesday, John had basically said “See you tomorrow” so it was obvious something negative had happened.
ReplyDeleteHope that John recovers quickly. No doubt he’ll credit the one (or is it two?) Covid booster vaccines in addition to the pair of regular vaccines with making his illness far less severe than what can afflict the unvaxxed.
Maybe so. But there will be callers challenging him and essentially saying “What’s the point of the boosters if they either don’t work or protect for only a few weeks?”
If they challenge him on the vaccine, they are announcing themselves as illiterates
DeleteUh, they DO work. What's the point of avoiding them?
Deleteif I were him when I got back on the air, if I felt up to it i would mention my experience with covid once and then not bring it up again..its nobodys business really unless he wants to share it..i just wouldnt take any calls from people who want to mock him personally and there will be a ton based on the usual hate calls/e mails he has got in the past when he talks about covid..
DeleteYou answered your own question Richard Skelly. Getting vaccinated does not mean you will not get infected and ill. What it does mean is that you will not end up in the ICU on a ventilator. The stats clearly show that the overwhelming majority in the ICU are non vaccinated.
DeleteOf course we are taking about people with no preexisting serious conditions. All bets are off if you have cancer, heart disease, etc.
Recounting the reports from those I know with Omicron variant, it takes more than a week, as much as ten days. First 2-3 are the worst. As for the point of boosters -- you suffer a bit at home, not in an ICU with a tube down your throat. Also, you don't die.
ReplyDeleteyup, thank you
DeleteI hope John gets well soon.
ReplyDeleteKCBS Rebecca Corral still missing.
I wonder if he blames the FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Nikki gave it to him. She seems like the type that gets around.
ReplyDeleteCovid is spread through the air. You don't have to have sexual contact with someone to spread it or get it. Shared microphones aren't helpful.
DeleteGets around? Uh, you've seen her right?
DeleteBut but but his idol Joe Biden campaigned with the promise that "Help was on the way!" almost 2 years ago. Why are so many people still getting Covid? And where are all of the treatments they promised us 2 years ago while campaigning? Every Democrat campaigning at the time was going to "fix this Covid situation". Nothing has changed.
ReplyDeletePeople are still getting covid because so many refused vaccination, masks, and distancing. Vaccine makers never promised perfect immunity, only about 90% in the best case* try math), and vaccine efficacy fades with time, thus the need for boosters. Unvaxed, unclean populations( masks that are dirty, nonexistent, or worn under the nose) just help the virus morph into variants, some more contagious than the original form. By now, you should know this stuff. No "treatments' were promised by democrats. Good public health behavior by the public is what can lessen the covid threat. John Rothmann doesn't idolize Joe Biden. Having a high fever and a covid diagnosis is not good.
DeleteIdiots abound! What fool believes the president or government can solve the pandemic when we're (our population) full of anti-vaxers and anti-maskers that refuse to cooperate with the mandates?? How in the hell do you govern that idiocy.
DeleteThink about what you post and be at least partly smart.
Idiots abound...like the moron at 5:34. Rich lets his comments through yet censors counter-points. Strange.
DeleteCorrect me if I am wrong, but I don't recall John Rothmann ever taking a preventative course of Ivermectin on a regular basis.
ReplyDeleteYet another victim of the conspiracy against reliable cures and immune boosters.
If only he had spent more time listening to KSFO and "860-AM The Answer" while popping the highly recommened Balance of Nature capsules...each packed with 0.66 grams of fruits and veggies.
Not only would they prevent almost all known diseases, but Rothmann could return to the air with a full head of hair.
Two of my good friends have died from COVID. Both were vehemently anti-vax. Both suffered horribly while in the hospital. I visited one of them (the other now lives in LA) on what turned out to be the day before he died. One of the last things Mike said to me was "Goddammit, dude, ...I should've gotten those damn shots." Before I left...he said "I love you, man"...and "Watch out for Mikey for me (his 12-year old son). Man...a year later, and I still break down thinking about Mike.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad we are getting all those illegal aliens vaxx that are crashing our southern border...
DeleteTalk about "smart".
Your "anti vax" friend Mike was a complete dumb ass. Totally ignorant about science.
DeleteRothmann has been gone a week and I don't miss him at all. His leftist bulling got old after 5 minutes.
