I USED TO SIT NEXT TO A GUY AT THE OAKLAND COLISEUM PRESS BOX, YEARS AGO.
That guy is arguably the most powerful man in Bay Area Sports TV programming, the one and only Ted Griggs, who is leaving NBC Sports Regional Eastern control in Connecticut and coming back to the Bay Area.
NBC Sports Bay Area is lucky.
Griggs not only walks the walk but TALKS the talk. And yes, he is a powerful figure with a hand in almost all the Bay Area's sports teams and their cable content.
But Griggs doesn't let his ego get in the way. He's a really good guy and some good guys still win.
Is Dave Feldman shaking? Dusting off his resúme?
ReplyDeleteTed is OK, I mean I find that NBC Sports Bay Area is the same old thing since it was SportsChannel in the early 1990s. YAWN!
