HEATHER HOLMES has a plan of attack. I'm not saying it'll work but I can tell you that this is her MO as the waning days of the KTVU 10 PM News, the way we all view it, are coming to a close.
Holmes has always wanted the 10 PM time slot. She's even gone to the act of telling the suits at Cox Media (when it owned KTVU) and Fox higher-ups an ultimatum: give me the desk at 10 PM or I'm leaving/ This goes back to Dennis Richmond days and she wasn't kidding. Well, sort of. They told her to be patient --looks like now, soon, she may get her wish.
There's a good chance Julie Haener will be gone come 2021, as I have written. The whole look of the 10 0'Clock News will have a much different appearance and most certainly without Haener. She's either too expensive or maybe bought out. Or simply leave, I don't know the specifics yet but I do know change is coming and it is that that has Holmes waiting in the wings.
Holmes makes pretty good coin herself, (roughly $250K a year) but she's got all the qualities that Fox loves. She's about to make her move and I'll be watching.
And so will you.

I used to work with her, and although she never did anything bad to me, she's about as warm and caring as the iceberg that hit the Titanic, which is why her ad-libs of concern after sad stories sound so fake on the air. Julie is all about Julie, and has the depth of a robot.

ReplyDeleteI don't believe for a second that KTVU would blow up the newscast that beats all others by a mile in the ratings and makes them a majority of their revenue. People plan to retire, but that will be their choice. The Fox suits aren't stupid. Once this team is broken up you never know what the ratings hit will be. They leave when they want to leave, they won't be pushed out the door. Makes no financial sense.

Note to all of you who drool over Heather Holmes and Rosemary Orozco: I’ve seen them both in person in Rockridge, Montclair and around lake Merritt. Both of them have extremely flat asses. It is no exaggeration to describe their asses as having the curves of a 2 by 4. If a flat ass is your thing then I don’t judge you. Just want you all to be aware. DeleteWhy are you guys talking about Christine Craft when the article is about HH and Julie H? Anyway, I think HH is absolutely beautiful, and Julie is very pretty. But, Julie is very accurate, regardless of her humor and warmth. HH isn't as accurate, but exudes more warmth. I like them both. Maybe pair the two together more often and make Frank a part-timer. I wouldn't mind, though, if HH were to become the top newsperson. KTVU is really in a strong spot. Btw, RO, is gorgeous, too. Doesn't strike me as a good ad-libber, but she's well spoken and accurate.
