ALL THIS CIVIL UNREST NEWS...especially news inside the Bay Area is taking a toll on various Bay Area newsrooms -most notably, I'm told, at KGO's 900 Front St. headquarters on the Embarcadero.
IWAS TOLD by a source who would know because they had first-hand knowledge of the situation and they tell me that "there's a huge amount of pissed-off staffers who hate what's going on." "There's a bunch of cheerleading taking place and it's reached a fever pitch," said the contact with a front-view mirror of the proceedings.
The source said it isn't all the marches and protests taking place that has writers and producers pissed off but the open cheerleading and bravado exhibited and it's not a welcome sight.
"This isn't news gathering anymore, it's a pep rally."
Yep. And botox facelift is right there at the head of the liberal snake kneeling and pandering last. This week taking down pictures of former Speakers. The vast majority are fed up with the whole charade.
ReplyDeleteSo right, 7:05. I've gone over to the conservative side, and it's the liberals who have sent me there. They're now advocating and praising anarchy and fascism, literal fascism. From now on when conservatives call liberals fascists I will no longer laugh; it is true.
DeleteAgreed and it's totally one-sided reporting. They make fun of Fox but they are equally biased in the other direction. This is why I don't watch any mainstream news anymore. And this is also why a once-liberal will be voting for Trump in November--the first time I have voted Republican ever.

That is so right. They're not even pretending objectivity anymore; it's just "Everything a person of color does is wonderful, even if it's vandalism, violence and destruction of private property." I wonder what they'll say when the first protesting thug kills someone. "Great news: an innocent person was burned alive in his house today because he did not have a BLM banner on his front law. Wait, wait, we're getting an update...he *did* have a BLM banner but they killed him anyway as reparations for slavery. This is the beginning of a movement, a new America! Isn't it great?"
All of the news ladies around here should wear ANTIFA cheerleader costumes for the duration. Some of the news guys should, too. Maybe some pompom action whilst cheering?

DeleteI'm glad I saw this thread because I thought it was just me. I'm a devout KGO viewer but a couple of weeks ago when the "protesters" blocked 101 down by San Jose I was so disappointed in the news crew who kept going on and on about how wonderful it was that it was such a diverse crowd and all colors were there protesting and how "peaceful" it was, etc. And all while they were showing people breaking out drivers' car windows. Again, it was very disappointing.
