I don't know, if Weather Channel is where she came from, I doubt they're getting her very cheap. Is she permanent now? I hope so, I think she does a good job. And she's actually a meteorologist unlike some of the fill in people I've seen them use before.
When Morey retired from KFOG in the mid-2000s, what Rich has been saying about terrestrial radio since launching the 415 blog, Dave was already saying it when he said goodbye to KFOG. KFOG's best ever DJ always had great instincts regarding the radio business. He wants to enjoy ridiculousness instead of bemoaning it, so when he does use media in his native Michigan, he watches Judge Judy a lot.

Wasn't Mike Mibach supposed to leave KTVU earlier this year? I thought I read that he had decided to leave the industry altogether, yet he's still here. What happened?
Actually KGO hired him a year back shortly after the Mike Shumann incident and decided to shelve him at the last minute and hire Mindi Bach, a WOMAN, until Mindi got a non-TV gig with Oracle; so now KGO hired back Alvarez because he's so damn original and massively talented (eyes rolling)
Is Chris Ngyuen still with ABC7? A few months back he signed off by saying he enjoyed being the weekend anchor. I havent seen him since. I really enjoy him
Nguyen was still doing field reporting for KGO-TV ABC7 as recently as this week, I believe. Still employed, though one never knows with the knuckleheaded duo who takes Disney cheap to a worse degree than ABC HQ does.
Chris Nguyen is still active on social media indicating he's still employed with ABC7/KGOtv as recent as 8/22/19 (2 days ago). Perhaps he's more in the field vs. anchoring right now.
