As they say, these two women don't like each other.
Anny Hong was back doing weather at KRON Monday morning replacing the departed Rebecca Strom --nearby, the illustrious and protective of turf, Robin Winston was perched on the traffic area; there were no fisticuffs but these two have a history.
It's more intense with Hong who can't stand Winston and Robin has no use for Hong. Simple theory. Both want to be stars. Both have Jupiter-sized egos. Both resent each other. There's a lot of female hormone on steroids here. I liken it to two boxers wanting to duke it out in the ring.
Winston sees Hong as a threat; an opportunistic femme fatale wanting immediate star status and fame and fortune; Hong views Winston as a bitchy, unentitled woman who uses her looks to advance (nothing wrong with that) In any event, they are enemies and sooner or later, they will battle.
It's not a matter of if, just when.

Two women in the workplace who dispose each other. No surprise there as I worked in that environment in the semiconductor industry. It was no fun for anyone, especially the men who had to stay out of the field of fire.
ReplyDeleteThis nonsense has been going on between them far to long now. When does upper managementput out an end to this?
ReplyDeleteManagement is too busy playing with two other toys
DeleteWhen I worked in news, I frequently saw this sort of thing. Never saw it among men, even though I was told when I entered they have the biggest egos. Not from my experience. Then again, I was told growing up that women are better drivers. I've been rear ended nine times as a driver, and each time but one it was a woman.
ReplyDeleteOne is on the "Extra Special" team and one is on the "Dime A Dozen" team. One is charming and the other just average. One grabs your attention, the other doesn't.
ReplyDeleteAn A and an AA at war with each other? The hell you say!
ReplyDeleteTake a look at the Bay Area in general. Not alot of love there.
Between those two groups.
ReplyDeleteLet's have a War of the Minds....my money is on Hong!!
ReplyDeleteMartin Luther King would be so proud.
DeleteIf either wants to be a ‘star’ KRON is not the place to shine. Does anybody actually watch that channel?
ReplyDeleteWhat if there's a catfight and no one is there to see or hear it. Did it actually happen?
ReplyDeleteWill Mark Danon come by and be a referee???
DeleteThe two would be perfect for the Jerry Springer show, they could actually beat each other up!
ReplyDeleteI thought Anny Hong left a while back?
ReplyDeleteAnny is class personified. She was only temping this week, has been since the birth of her child. Why would she care about Robin Winston? She will fill in only as needed until a permanent replacement is found.
ReplyDeleteIsn't Anny just filling in? I don't think she cares about Robin, and if Robin cared about her career she'd be out of KRON by now
ReplyDeleteHow the hell does Daria have a job? Who is she blowing?
