In order to maintain a blog that you've come to appreciate; the stories you look forward to; the raw and honest takes you will NOT get anywhere else, I need money to keep 415 Media fluid.
I'll be blunt:
I need your donations. Some of you have already donated, some of you, multiple times and while I appreciate all your support, it's not enough.
415 Media is an independent 24/7 blog that is NOT beholden to advertisers and allows me, its author, its creator, its producer, the financial means to put out fresh content DAILY. If you come here and like what you read and see, for the most part, I NEED YOUR HELP. I need DONATIONS, any amount is helpful. Just a tiny fraction of the literally thousands of you that come here daily make a donation, would guarantee 415 Media long term stability and END pledge breaks. I know you hate them but I need them to live and breathe.
Your $upport keeps 415 Media up and running; allows me to pay my bills and breathe a little. I know it's a difficult time for you but it's also a difficult time for me too.

Rich, some of us are reluctant to send money to what may be a losing operation. Can you assure us you'll be around for a while?
ReplyDeleteI'll be happy to donate once you stop censoring comments. If you want to censor nonsensical comments or profanity-laced diatribes to ensure the comments section doesn't devolve into anarchy, that's one thing. The fact that you censor comments that prove you incorrect or hypocritical while still remaining polite leaves me unwilling to contribute, despite you previously posting that you would stop censoring polite, yet disagreeable comments.
ReplyDeleteI'm with both 12:33 and 12:50. You beg for money, then disappear for a week. And you won't post comments critical of you or your story lines. Yes, it is your blog. You write it. You edit it. You own it. But it is a business. If you want us to pay for a daily service, you have to provide that daily service. And, as long as no one is calling you names, you owe it to your readers to present opposing views.

DeleteAgree with 5:41. Come on guys (and ladies, too); it's a daily read for most of us. Personally, I enjoy the comments almost as much as Rich's info; but face it, Rich is still the king of local media. Do it quarterly, it keeps the page going and doesn't hurt as much...Bajadoc
