  1. So much for the drawing power of Thurston and Rothmann,
looks like the TrumpCuppers are winning here too.

    1. Amen to this! I posted the same thing before reading.

If I wanted advice from women over the age of 60 on how to live my life and who I should vote for I would talk to my mother.

    2. Without knowing the hourly ratings, you can't pin the continuing poor performance on any specific show, can you? I see that you have mommy issues, as so many do, but aren't the top talk show hosts in this country( all male) well over sixty? Do you turn the dial because they are too old, or do you like what they tell you about "living your life" and who you should vote for? Why would anyone take their cues on any of these things from a radio voice?

  3. Last year Jason Barret's blog posted local bay area ratings they DO PAY FOR. He's not done it since.
I imagine the heat he got for revealing KNBR vs95.7 hour by hour has kept him from doing that again.
I wonder if he just paid for that one time? Or he pays..and keeps it to himself? Expensive inside knowledge?

  4. KGO's numbers are in the toilet? We need better fill in hosts than Pat Thurston.

  5. So if KNBR fell, due to the loss of The Warriors. Why didn't The Game move at all?

    1. KNBR's drop more likely reflects the end of the baseball season, not the loss of the Warriors. This happens every year.

  6. Looks like The Breeze has flown past KOIT. Guess we'll see if The All Holiday Music helps.

  7. more warriors post game talk on knbr instead of going to that national stuff. local talk is always better than national, even if its rehashing a game.

  8. I give up on KGO. John and Pat are the only good hosts and they never are on due to football and basketball crap. The station has no regular evening programming. Wish they'd get rid of A&G, Chip Franklin and Bearman. They ALL stink.

  9. I have a media question for you Rich. Explain Tweets and why you (all of us) can no longer read tweets sent to somebody else? I get the feeling the tweets sent are not public. Before, you could read every tweet a celeb got. I only see mine through my own tweet page. Whats going on?
And what do the various "egg" colors mean??? Tan eggs,Red eggs. Maybe Green. No explanation on the net- just a few people guessing.
    Thanks.

  10. KGO radio programs are getting increasingly more irritating due to to giggling factor. A&G; Ethan bearman; Chip F are all guilty of that. Chippie is getting to be very irriattating as well. Is there any product he doesnt like and try to sell? I mean he sells products for which the companies have been fined millions of dollars for false advertising etc. So much for his credibility.

Thurston does not take any callers or just very few and only those who agree with her. So much for free speech.

The only really great host is Rothmann.

My remedy for KGO: Fire old Chippy; no more giggling producers and fake laughter; hire Len Tillem; Bing back Gill for 2 hours without wifey. Thurston really should take lots of more callers instead of doing her preaching. They should get Alan Colmes for a couple of hours.

Of course NEVER will it be the old KGO. They killed the goose with the golden eggs
