You'd be surprised at how many people in our local media are conservative. I was in a newsroom during the 2004 election and there was a clear, unspoken divide between a lot of the talent and the writers, producers and PAs.
It's like that in most newsrooms in this market. Again, I've seen it first hand. Let me say, there is nothing wrong with it. That's just how it is.
Yeah but Trump isn't conservative. He's nothing but in it for himself. I'm a life long Republican and would never bring myself to vote for such an obvious ego maniac.
I see now. Because he is white and successful and possibly conservative, he has had any easy life and everything handed to him? You forgot racist, but oops, he's married to an African American and has mixed kids so that doesn't work. Oh well, you'll just have to stick with the white male meme - should be good enough to embolden your point.
I watch Ch 4, mainly at 8 pm for the news. I'm notta channel hopper - so I'm familiar with Radnich and his shtick. Like Trump, he can't STFU. It was usually ALL about him when he inserted himself into the real news, after his blah, blah, blah about sports. I've notice in the last few weeks or so - maybe longer, he's not been yakking it up with the news anchors. I think the brass told him to STFU and get out of the view of the cameras when his segment is over. Thank you, brass - whomever you are.
I thought this one was good. Trump paints himself as the ultimate deal maker and that's how he'd deal with other governments. Turns out he's paying 3x what Bernie Sanders is paying and double what Kasich is spending for regional TV ads on the same stations, same times, same frequency. Great deal, Donald.
I am voting for Trump so we will have a chance of getting this country back on track. Both sides are corrupt and that needs to change and lobbyist run out of town. The main thing to remember is that "LIBERALISM IS A MENTAL DISORDER".
Speaking of mental disorders, I've been amazed at the displays of insanity by the current and former 2016 Republican Presidential candidates. As one of them stated, "...my party has gone batshit crazy!"
As nutty as Trump is, it's his supporters like you that have me shaking my head. He's playing you guys like fools. The liar/bully/nutjob changes his positions with the wind. No worries though. Hillary beats the blowhard easy.
1:46 Your comment has me shaking my head. Hillary is a typical politician that will say just about anything to get elected. She's as dishonest as Leland Yee, another beloved Democrat of yours.
9:11 The candidates don't concern me (none will get elected) as much as their followers. Those folks will still be among us after the election. Never thought the movie "Idiocracy" would turn out to be non-fiction.
Worked for the DOD for 32 years and had a very high security clearance. Rule number #1, you never put yourself in a position where you could be blackmailed!! That is "exactly" what Hillary did!
If I handled "sensitive information" the way she has, I would have "instantly" lost my clearance and my probably my job!
And if I were to ask why I lost my job and clearance, they would say, "You are not trustworthy."
Are the days of TV reporters numbered? Fox O&Os across the country (induding KTVU) have started "citizen reporters". They started the experiment at their station in Philadelphia, and seem to be pleased with the results, so they will notify local volunteers, via Fresco's app, where local stories are available for coverage. They will then take the video uploaded and air it, possibly including narration from the person close to the event at the time of the event who has the phone.
The guy who sleeps through his radio show proves that he's unconscious when it comes to politics too - doesn't surprise me in the least.
ReplyDeleteHmph...I'm not surprised either. Throw in Dr Savage & you have a trifecta. HOCK!!!
DeleteThere is ugly, there is fucking ugly, there is fuggly, and coyote ugly. They both just passed all of the above.
ReplyDeleteTwo vile disgusting people.
Totally agree!!

DeleteWhite, divorced, easy life, can pretend no one can gave him anything when he's being given things every day.
ReplyDeleteGary is an elitist scumbag.

Well when KRON expands its newscast from 10-11:15pm in May Gary may have more sports time...
ReplyDeleteOne fat ass to another
ReplyDeleteIt just shows you that no one is all bad.
ReplyDeleteOh Lawd! I'm cringing at the thought of Rump/Radnich ticket. :(
ReplyDeleteOne this one issue, I agree with Gary.
ReplyDeleteHopefully, he will spread the good news to his other staff members.
Both sides suck.
ReplyDeleteSo is Savage. Your point?
ReplyDeleteIf he wears one, his athletic Supporter would have the words Make America Great Again or Make Love, Not War.
ReplyDeleteNo wonder Media General is so incompetent! They're scared of the Bentley because it has the Hairpiece by its side!

ReplyDeleteWould you prefer Karl Rove and the Koch brothers?
DeleteI believe that might be illegal.
DeleteTrump: Bad hair.
ReplyDeleteRadnich: Bad hair, bad complexion, bad teeth, bad breath.
G-Rad: Bad shtick, acts like a welfare case struggling to make ends meet for his starving kids.
DeleteSpeaking of losers, Cumulus reported a truly dismal 4th quarter early today. Vultures may be circling.

ReplyDeleteWhy is Rove and the Koch Bros the only other option? But I get it - would I rather be stabbed to death or shot? Neither, if I have the choice.
ReplyDeleteLOL Gary is ranting about this post right now on KNBR saying this is not true. Love to hear his feedback on the new weather girl at KRON
ReplyDeleteDumb asses. It's schtick. Gary doesn't support Trump. He just finds him entertaining.
DeleteHe must read your blog, because he Tweeted he wants to support Kasich, but didn't think he had enough star power during the debate.
ReplyDeleteRadnich is terrible & obnoxius!
ReplyDeleteHow does he manage to keep his gigs...for these many years!
Yesterday this Radnich guy blames Lebron for calling president Trump as a bump in a tweet.
ReplyDeleteBut he is ok with Trump using saying SOB on live televison.
One is a sportsman tweeting and the other is a president talking on live television.
I'm surprised this jackass Radnich still survives in TV annoying the other news casters every day with his stupid remarks and jokes.
