Orozco to KTVU: Show Me The Money

AS HER PROFILE has become more noticeable on KTVU's various newscasts, high-energy weather woman, Rosemary Orozco has given KTVU (Fox2) a semi-ultimatum: SHOW ME THE MONEY! Or, at least words to that effect.

Only thing is FOX management has been systematically trimming the budget in Jack London Square to the point that even special, on-air talent are not immune, including Orozco, who makes slightly north of $125K but wants considerable more money given her growing stature at Channel 2.

Orozco seems to be telling KTVU it's time to do this.

  1. Rosie better watch it; if she keeps it up, KTVU/FOX will drop her ass quicker than a turd on Karel's driveway.

  2. She's nice looking but in this day and age you're replaceable faster than you think.

  3. I'd give her a pay raise and a $10,000 clothing allotment so she can show us (she was a model) what being a beautiful, sexy woman is all about. Does KTVU realize what they have??? It's not 1953 anymore...drop the outdated dress codes! It's just money, she is worth more than money!

  6. I seem to remember when Karna Small gave an ultimatum to KRON -- get me a thicker grease pencil or I walk.

  7. These kinda things happen in threes: Leyla Gulen, soon to be Rosemary Orozco. Who will be next? Have these people ever heard the word "hubris?"

  8. Listening and watching Rosemary Orosco is very similar to watching paint dry. She has no on-air "personality" . She should take a lesson from Steve Paulson and then ask for more money.

  9. Seriously, other than the Geritol population (sorry Mom and Dad), who the hell relies on or watches TV weather? I mean, really. That's what apps are for. TV News better catch up to the times or it's gonna go the way of newspapers. Always enjoy visiting your site, Rich, although I'm a bit busier now so I don't get to stop by as much.
