Leyla Gulen, the AM traffic reporter on KGO-TV (ABC7) is done trafficking at the station. She bid farewell on Twitter Thursday morning.
My early bird word is telling me this was sort of expected as Gulen wanted a more significant presence on KGO's coming, new morning program and, for some reason, station management wasn't really that much in love with Gulen as she had hoped.
We'll know more later.
Wow--first Weather Girl Barbie, now Leyla Gulen. Interesting . . .
ReplyDeleteBye Lezzla Gillen, don't let the door hit you on the way out. Beyotch!!!
ReplyDeleteJust shut the fuck up, dumbass. Your posts aren't funny. Never have been, never will. You can copy usernames of longtime posters on this website all you want but in the end, you're just a bitch here. I'm surprised Rich lets your bullshit through on a day to day basis yet blocks others. It's a slap in the face to people who actually have the balls to comment under their own names linked to their own accounts only for you to comment and type their names in as if you are them.
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping you or your mother (with whom you most likely live) never have to suffer a job loss.
I love you, too, bunghole whoever-you-are.
DeleteMaybe she should have asked Darya about her secret to local broadcast longevity and proceeded accordingly.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Lisa ever made it to this guy's radar:

I don't want to know what your were doing in order to find this...
DeleteOh No!
ReplyDeleteLeyla is a wolf in sheep's clothing. I wish her the best.
ReplyDeleteI switch between KPIX and KGO for morning news. I liked her: no nonsense, informative, friendly, easy on the eyes. I'd stay on one or the other if it weren't for Roberta Gonzales or Kristen Sze. Other than those two, the newscasters on each station are easy to watch and listen to.
ReplyDeleteWho is weather girl Barbie?
ReplyDeleteToo bad. She was versatile, I liked her on weather and traffic. She was probably good enough to anchor. Good luck Leyla. I hope you get a new gig that you love.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope she ends up in the LA big time. Maybe Loren's Bakersfield background caught up with her causing her landing at RFD TV.
ReplyDeleteLA is where she was before San Francisco.
DeleteShe saw what a circus the morning news is going to become and did not want to be a part of it.
ReplyDeleteAnyone care to expound on the "wolf in sheep's clothing" comment? Hmmmm.
ReplyDeleteYeah with Copeland– 9 out of 10 times his program is about race. Whether with his comic jerk circle, or by himself. It's tiresome to say the least. You'd think he had grown up somewhere in Mississippi in the '30's.
