  1. This problem is Bay Area wide not just at KTVU but given their reputation, they were the most solid of the local news stations. It's happening at all the TV stations

  3. Senior Anchor = Frank Sommerville? Who else qualifies given that Haener is out of commission and probably incommunicado as a result?

  4. @icn2 Senior Anchor seems to be good with Heather Holmes as his co-anchor.

  5. Sad to say, but Dick Lieberman's blog may become obsolete soon. Not his fault. It's how the TV and radio stations operate. Why keep telling us it's all shit? That's like saying Kennedy is dead. Duh. Viewers and listeners--hopefully most of them--have brains. If this keeps up, no one with tangible gray matter will be watching/listening.

It's all about money with these people. Never mind the content quality. Forget about valuing experience. It's just all about mo money, mo money, mo money.

But then again, there are a lot of lemmings out there who keep following the same jackasses out to sea. Those who value every word that comes out of Fatnich's mouth. The zombies who think Lowenstein is THE man. And the airheads who go ga-ga over pirate talk on television news.

So with that in mind, I guess Dick Lieberman is still pertinent. Never mind. Just thinking out loud. Thinking -- something viewers/listeners and the people running the ships just don't do much of.

  6. Senior anchor has been told by his management not to use his name when talking to anyone about the strife at his TV station. I wonder if they censor the news this way as well?

  8. Dennis Richmond is probably glad he's not dealing with all this 'Crappy' Talk BS.

Regarding KRON: Saw Annie Hong co-anchoring the morning news....totally professional. Please keep her and dump Darya.
