  1. Congratulations to a great TEAM! That was a joyful victory last night, especially since the Warriors seem to be genuinely decent guys throughout.

  2. Lacob made a smart move last night at the post-game press conference. When they asked him where the parade was going to be, he quickly replied, "Oakland." Can't burn that bridge, Joe.

  3. Congratulations, Warriors! Outstanding! You're all winners!! As the coach of the very first basketball team said to his players, "Just shut your holes & get out there! Let's go, goddamit!"

  4. Don Nelson. How strange he was hated for "small ball", and we get a big center..then win the NBA title with small ball?

    2. He wasn't hated for small ball at all. Where does that come from? And he only small balled with the Warriors because he had to. With the Bucks, he had Bob Lanier and other centers and with the Mavs, he had Dirk. The criticism of Nelson was that he never won a championship playing Nellie Ball.

  5. I can't wait to see the change in fan base once they move to the new arena in SF.

    1. Will be just as Asian and a little quieter at first (as was the case at PacBell Park) as the fans take in the new, superior facility.

    2. Anon at 9:57...assuming no one from SF are fans and are attending games now? They did originally play in SF when they came west. And in The end, they will be in the City.
Oh boy, all those "salt of the earth" oakland residents that paid 7k for court side seats. Boy, you sound like those genius people who said the giants new ballpark would be a disaster.

    1. Right after Adam Meyer from AdamWins.com tells you on 3 different KNBR shows that he'll give you his guaranteed pics free for 4 games this weekend...but only if you call in the next 4 hours. Lee Hammer says bet.

  8. I think the exterior of the Arena is better looking then "The City" 's CAD drawings. 1962 styling vs 2015.
You all see what Cleveland plays in? It reminds me of Doggy Diner. The Big Orange,or those other cute stucco fast food shops. Cleveland's stadium just needed stucco lettuce and tomato.

  9. All 9 Bay Area Counties support the GS Warriors, due to the fact that there is no specific City, or Town in their name, and they are the only NBA Team in the Bay Area...No matter where GSW's Arena is located...

    1. Uh, did all nine counties pay for the arena, its maintenance, security, etc? Please, STFU.

And your point is???? You need to take that shit up with the past few inept Mayors of Oaktown that you have had...LOLZ?!

Btw...The Warriors parade floats were all built in SF, & the Cable Cars are from SF also, that the team will be riding on in the parade. They are the Cable Cars that the SF Giants rode on last year during their championship run....We San Franciscans can't wait until the team moves back to SF! So Y don't U STFU , Mr./Ms. Sour Grapes?!

  10. #1 Winner should be Joe Lacob and his Golden State Warriors. As Leandro Barbosa said in his broken English, "We are championship!" Now shut up, Charles Barkley!
