My Mom taught at the school where the woman who composed and sang that song also taught. Her name was Rita Abrams. That song was a big hit on the radio that year (1970). That came out just when Marin County was changing dramatically. Hot Tubs, EST, and of course, that bestselling book 'The Serial.' Marin has never been the same!
