  1. "Timmy" most likely, won't be on the roster after his contract expires next year.

  2. "Timmy" is a 30 year old weedhead and a non-factor in the playoffs. In fact, If it had not been for the added wild card spot, the "Island of Misfit Toys" would not even have made the playoffs.

  3. John Rothman would disapprove of "Timmy's" fashion faux pas of wearing a scarf reminiscent of Yasser Arafat's wardrobe, or as Frank Sommerville would call him: "Yassi".

  4. Hearing Timmy's name five times isn't nearly as bad as Gasia referring to George Shultz as "Charles."

  6. Frank Somerville sounds like a putz talking about sports.

  7. Did Renell really expect fans to cheer Bank of America,Comcast and knbr? The smattering of boos told more.
I wonder how many TV's Billy Beane smashed in his media room in Danville? It must eat him alive to see Sabean up there A THIRD TIME. Beane who broke up the A's during the season to get what he thought was a Bumgarner..and instead Lester flopped in the clutch. Beane who traded his "Sandoval" for Lester is grinding his teeth to nubs...

    1. Billy Beane is over in Hawaii. He doesn't even watch the games, he has his assistant text him the final score.

  9. I started watching Channel 2, but realized even as a causal fan I knew more about the 2014 Giants and Giants history then Frank and Ibanez seemed to. I surfed around until settling on NBC11. Raj was good and knows sports very well. They also had less segments of talking to fans. I really didn't care to hear from the fans on the street.

  10. Sommerville obviously doesn't watch or know much about baseball or the Giants for that matter. Pretty entertaining listining to him attempt to "anchor" the coverage.

  11. Comcast was doing a nice job when Papa and Laskey and Vida were on there, but they when they had to bring in 'Feldy' and Fareed, I turned to another channel. Those guys are so smug, they act as if they've been around here forever, and both of them were brought in from out of town. As with so many other Comcast reporters and anchors, they'll eventually leave the bay area be on to some other affiliate in some other town within a year or two. No one watches those shows on Comcast, partly because 90 percent of their on-air people never worked in the bay area, and know NOTHING about what is going on here. I especially get tired of the 20 something year old girls they hire like Falloon what's-her-name. I guess they think will attract a male audience.

  12. Imvho...KPIX is extra, extra, syrupy about the Santa Clara 49ers, a team that "NO" longer even plays ball in the City of SF.

Didn't any of you witness all the gushing on the Ribbon cutting day at Levi's, the 1st preseason game at Levi's, or the 1st regular game day at "The Broiler," (Levi's.)

In my opinion the Local Media has got it much worse for the Niners, who as of late is not a very classy organization. The SF Giants are the only team that wears a SF on their uniform that is the Class of SF, & the Bay Area

  13. Somerville wasn't the only one who didn't know much about the Giants. Neither did their sports guys. Hmm I wonder if they're all still pissed about losing the broadcast rights to Giants' games?

  14. Frank Sommerville is the reincarnation of Ted Baxter.
