  2. I bet, she's a hard worker who wont complain and is easy with the laugh. Something Frank or Ken will learn.
    My gut feeling.

  3. Watching her first newscast tonight, she was a little nervous at first.
But that was to be expected being new in the area and her first broadcast.
After that I was smooth sailing for the rest of the newscast.
    Job well done!

    1. Uhhhh. Excuse me. What channel are you watching? She's not even been on KPIX yet.

  5. Very common Name. Came from the Spanish and Portugal. It was also used as a general term for the Filipino (Uncle Sam) We say good old Uncle Sam and they say good old De La Cruz. I am sure alot of people were given that name when they came here cause lots of the surnames were not spelled right.

    She's probably Filipino/Filipino-American.

  7. What the fuck does her ethnicity matter? You going to judge her performance differently based on that?
You guys are worse than Rich and his weekly oggling posts over breasts.

    1. Calm down, Bro. Take one of those little pink chill pills. Just because the four letter word race was mentioned, doesn't mean these writers were disparaging her or putting her down because of it. I'm an artist, and I do take the world in visually at first. In fact, that is how most of us do. It's not a bad thing necessarily. The young lady most likely is fillipina. I was in the Navy and spent a lot of time on Clark Air Force Base, before we were voted out of the country. Most filipino people I've met are solid citizens, bright, humorous and very hardworking people. Every group has their bad apples (i.e. Shrimp Boy) but that's human nature. Please think a little before you dump your profanity on others. Any compassion or sense of fairness you may have meant to convey to the asian races was, shall we say, compromised by your rudeness.

So her race matters to you, whatever it is?

    3. 11.48, NO, her race doesn't matter to me. As long as she can do a good job, and mixes well with her co-workers while on the air, is all that matters.
This girl is new around here, so we are in the 'getting to know you, getting to know all about you' phase. We don't know her very well. She has only now come to the attention of most in the North Bay. The novelty of being the new girl in class will pass by this autumn, when another new face becomes unveiled for public viewing.
First comes style, then comes substance.

  10. Once again, white men obsessed with the race of a nonwhite female while slobbering all over her. Yuck.
