  1. I started watching KRON back in the early 90's as a teenager JUST to watch her and Pam Moore. I've always wondered if that Gary Radnich story was true. Never got the particulars though. Say what you want. Janice is still fine.

    1. When I first moved to the Bay Area in the early 90s, I do remember enjoying Janice Huff's weather reports.

    2. Since Rich silenced the first question for some ridiculous reason I'll ask again, what's the story?

  2. I can't help but think of a song lyric, "Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies...."

  3. Has Kate Scott been silenced? I only listened for the first 15 minutes or so of Gary's show and it was just Larry/Gary talking over one another and then to Kate for traffic, then more Gary/Larry. No Gary/Larry/Kate.

    Anybody?

    1. I hope she has been silenced. She's a bore, a loud bore.

    2. Agree with 11:46. She adds nothing.

  4. What global warming? 90f at the end of April is normal for SF.

Did somebody say "Gary Radnich?" Slowly I turn, step by step...
A joke for the older crowd.

  5. The iconic Lou Costello (Abbott & Costello) and, earlier, the equally iconic "Three Stooges." Ah, yes. Thanks for the memory, Stan.

  6. When i see that photo, I see two nice looking professionals, duped into wasting their time on a White House Potemkin Village pageant of propaganda. The President better hope Trey Goudy doesn't call him to the witness stand about Bengazi, Fast & Furious and unlawful use of the IRS as a hired Goon Squad to those who didn't vote for him. I don't blame them for flying to Washington at Obama's urgent behest. It's hard to reject a White House invite, even with this administration.

    1. Gee, I see thousands of American deaths on 9/11 due to intelligence failures and a rush to war with a country that had nothing whatsoever to do with 9/11. Add to the death toll the thousands of GIs who perished or were maimed in this mistake of an invasion. Add the American economy. As far as misleading the public to spin the elections? Try telling your homeland security advisor to raise the the terror level to Eleven just before the 2004 election The IRS scandals have been debunked by everyone except Fox.
The pat answer from the other side to this is "why do you bring up the previous administration?" - because they were never called to account for the misdeeds and needless deaths on their watch. The only reason this Congress continues to hold hearings on these faux scandals is to stir up the base for the mid term elections. Also why the heavy voting restrictions are being put into place in the red states to make sure only that base votes.

  7. Can you get a photo that's even closer to their mugs? It's like they're in your face. Ackkkkk!

    1. Haven't you heard? That's called a Selfie Vignette. Ellen Degeneres woke up one morning with an OUZO hangover and thought of the whole phenomenon herself. Everybody loves them! The A-List Thespians of New York and Los Angeles think Selfies are the Cat's Meow!

  8. Hey, Bill Martin! Nice Bob Wilkins glass frames! (RIP, Mr. Creature Features the past few years since passing in his hometown of Reno, who was also a weatherman during KTVU's very early beginnings with the 10:00 News).

  9. Pretty much sums up Rich's audience. A bunch of climate change denier people will believe anything.

    1. And at least one person who hasn't studied science since the 3rd grade, who probably believes the flat earth is 6,000 years old.

  10. Not a flattering photo of Bill Martin.
Hey buddy what is with the closeup? Maybe from 10 yards away.

  11. I love how Richie is coy with this headline. "A good friend of Radnich"? You heard the stories that Gary was dating Janice back in the day.

  12. Haha, I always wondered if that story was true. Was an intern at KRON in the mid-to-late 90s and actually heard confirmed directly from a couple of the senior guys in the sports department who were very tight with Radnich (DG and JA). Good for Janice, she got a nice promotion out of the whole affair.
