NBC Bay Area's Chief Meteorologist Jeff Ranieri; Women Seem to Love His High Pressure Systems

Jeff Ranieri is KNTV's, (NBC Bay Area), chief meteorologist and beyond possessing better than average weather-predicting reports, has quite a following among Bay Area TV viewers, particularly women who love his high pressure systems if you know what I mean.

Ranieri knows his stuff too; before joining KNTV,  he worked as a correspondent for NBC News & MSNBC and served as the Weekend Today Show meteorologist.

Some people take the weather for granted. Not Jeff. Take a look at his forecasts and see the lighter side of rain, mist and showers, which we've been getting a lot of lately --ain't that just splendid.

    2. He was on KCRA 3 NBC in Sac years ago. Never was impressive, in fact many found him annoying.

  2. Did anyone happen to see where Geoff Edwards died? I didn't know he was sick.

  3. WOW! Rich, I don't know what women you're hearing from, but he would be one of those proverbial last men on earth for me. My gaydar alarm blares whenever I see him. Even his sometimes nasal tone and accent annoy me. And how about those cute little short, body-hugging suit jackets. Ugh to the max on the whole package.

  6. Are you sure it is women that are hot about him? Usually weather "forecasters" are HOT women! Like Jackie Johnson! Beep Beep Beep. .. Gaydar...on...!

  8. I saw a report on KTVU tonight by Cristina Rendon where she let loose with a Spanish accent. What's up with that? Is she "going ethnic" like Ysabel Duron did? (You should see her early stuff at KRON. She sounded like Teresa Estacio--total California voice. Then she turned "serious" and became a "Latina" reporter. Job security.)

    1. So annoying. Tell her to take that garbage to Univision. The best defense is a fence.

  9. KTVU, KPIX, KGO,& KRON deliver so much more news about the South Bay than the North, or East Bay that we don't have to watch KNTV, imho. I thought honestly that was the whole reason that the NBC Affiliate moved to the South Bay, so that void would be covered?!

But everyday San Jose/Santa Clara County led off the news broadcast...Meh....
