  2. Hey Rich-I have it on very good authority that Jared misses your digs. Of course in Philly, there is probably someone just like you and no doubt, Jared has already incurred his wrath. What was it in particularly that upset you so much about that guy? Outside of Raddy and Mattress-man, Jared seemed to be one of your favorite targets. Any particular reason? It sounds as if you had a bad face to face encounter with the guy and you took it very personally.

    1. Oh, dear. This is not good. Being born, raised and formerly working in Philly -- I can tell you now, thanks to many friends there -- this is doomsday for sure.

Jared is working for CBS at the once legendary, not flat as a board, "Big Talker" 1210 -- WPHT. A signal that used to reach fulling half the country and now, can't even be hear in Mannyunk, ten mils from center city. The station is now back to Limbaugh -- who is back after getting dumped to a now defunct Trenton station, Hannity is back, to ... at 9:30 pm. The rest is Coast-to-Coast, Don Giardano and othe triteness. The station, to its credit, did get rid of Beck and Smerconish.

No one listens to this dump except for Phillies baseball. The station is so bad that for years, WPHT (nee, WCAU) would dump Phillies baseball on Friday nighte for the "Sounds of Sinatra" with Sid Mark.

As for Hart (and note that a teeny-weeny young Ronn Owens got his start at WCAU-1210 back in the early 70s, and Gene Burns did "Dining Around" a a bit of talk there too --) Hart is a creep and, like Monty, will stay only as long as CBS puts up with him. He's a lghtweight and Philly will eat him alive. And so will the bloggers at the Inquier (Michael Kline and others) when they quickly tire of his act.

Mr. Hart will be in Trenton before he knows it. Have a cheessteak someplace other than the touristy Pat's or Gino's and stay the hell out of Chickie's and Pete's. The Infynity place is more your speed. Say hi to Merrill Reese and Howard Eskin at WIP / am-fm and watch your a$$ before your get kicked out to work for Greater Media.

Talk radio has hit a new low now in Piladelphia with Hart's presence.

      Sad.
