  5. Elvin Sledge....this guy got thrown under the bus....SOP for Cox ...an older black man takes the fall.......

Ken Rosenthal also has endeared himself to the newsroom saying he doesn't care what the union contract says......you do what I say......
This is going to get even more interesting.

    1. Was Elvin producing on That Day?

I worked with him. He had the eagle-est eyes in the business. How could that happen???

    2. Wait, what? Do explain. Did they just fire or suspend Elvin? Aside from calling Lee, Ken, you seem to have some real information.

  6. I'm no lawyer.

    wait I am

The definition of defamation is proving a false statement that harms the reputation of an individual or business.

Did Rich say a word about her?

    I'm suing based on innuendo?

So Rich said the billionaire head of cox is a crook?

    Again, no.

    1. Well Mr. Lawyer, I agree that there's no basis for a defamation suit here BUT kindly explain why you think it is Rich posted her picture here.

    4. @3:49 PM Well I'm not a lawyer and I can't say I know what Rich is thinking. But myself, I think Rich posted her picture so that those of us who are terribly offended by KTVU's actions now know who they should contact because KTVU management is stonewalling. 1) Why won't Tom Raponi or Lee Rosenthal explain to the AAJA how the names got to the newsroom (i.e. email, fax, phone call)? Because doing so would immediately finger the culprit. Since they are protecting themselves they can't release this info. 2) Why won't Lee Rosenthal explain why KTVU released 2 of the REAL pilot names several days earlier, yet these 4 fake names still managed to air later on? Answering this question would also finger the culprit so they declined to answer. 3) Why hasn't KTVU fired any of it's junior staff? Raponi and Rosenthal both know that the Jr. staff had nothing to do with this and therefore they refuse to provide any details about the chain of custody for the names. This started at the top.

    5. I'm only a civilian, but I can answer that question. The interests of the woman in the picture are probably different than yours and mine. And the people who run fifteen stations, including KTVU, answer to people who work for her. Yes, it is about class.

    6. @5:33, You are so terribly offended that you can't get over this?

You say "Raponi and Rosenthal both know that the Jr. staff had nothing to do with this and therefore they refuse to provide any details about the chain of custody for the names. This started at the top." That is utter nonsense and you don't have a shred of evidence to back it up. It makes no sense.

    7. @8:54 am I have no evidence because Tom Raponi and Lee Rosenthal refuse to provide ANY DETAILS about the incident except "we are sorry it happened." Even something as simple as explaining how the names go to the newsroom. What, a little bird flew in from the window and spoke to someone? Why doesn't Raponi or Rosenthal just explain how they got the names? I'll tell you why, Rosenthal himself wrote the names, just like his HOMELESS IDOL F'up.

    8. Because they haven't denied a ridiculous accusation which is too stupid to be believed, it must be true? Hey, it must be true that Rich Lieberman is an extra-terrestrial.

  7. Gosh, I'm so shocked that the mature broadcast types who post here would say misogynistic, ageist things about this woman whose brooch is probably worth more than all their worldy assets put togehter. Can you imagine them bowing and scraping to her if she had a job they wanted?
Men and women who make it into their seventies, eighties and beyond are not there to motivate your sex fantasies, you know.If this woman were a man, same age, same wealth, would you be remarking on his sexual abilities or his wrinkles?

    1. Even with her wealth I'm sure she takes less extravagant and just less overall vacations than Michelle Obama. Champagne wishes! Caviar dreams!

    2. She actually has an interesting family history: she is the daughter of Governor James Cox of Ohio, who was the Democratic candidate for President in 1920, with FDR as his running mate.

    1. No Feinstein is in her 80's and looks to be 60. She is rich beyond belief. Come to think of it so is Pelosi. And Boxer.....I guess the Democratic party is for the "common people" and the Republican party is for the "rich". Or at least the marketing arm of the Democratic party would have the American people think that.....

  15. So they are blaming Elvin Sledge, the producer for this? Sledge - who is a black, male - is TOP NOTCH!!! Funny, back in the the 1960s and 70s Anne Cox Chambers belonged to an Atlanta country club with a "Whites Only" policy. That is until President Carter nominated her to be Ambassador to Belgium. She turned in her "white sheets" and left the club, to go to Brussels. At least she is consistent - once a racist; always a racist! Sorry that certain of her employees have to suffer the consequences. For shame!
