No, I'm not running for office anytime soon.
I am ...about to embark on a new venture that will complement the blog and allow you all, my readers, to listen to me in addition to reading me. (Think radio).
It's exciting. And it's, finally, in the bag and ready to fire up soon. Huzzah!
Check back Monday for the news.

Right on. Its a wonder you didn't think of this before. A audio-visual blog with the writing. A chance to break out the 3 piece suit!..OR in summer the Hawaiian shirt-Panama hat look.
ReplyDeleteI think it is pretty obvious you will be starting a radio show of some kind, my guess is KSCO?
ReplyDeleteThe suspense is overwhelming...
ReplyDeleteThat was the goal when you started this thing. Sadly, you are still, and always will be, irrelevant.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait Rich! KSCO's reception in the East Bay is spotty, so I will definitely listen on the stream! Can't wait!

This is great news Rich. Looking forward to it. Your last show was excellent, it should be fun!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you're taking over for Ronn. Will you be doing the mattress ads too?
ReplyDeleteReplacing Rod Brooks. It'll be Giggles and Grumble.
ReplyDeleteRich, don't let these haters bring you down. IMO, living well is the best revenge!
ReplyDeleteAlways thought you'd be good ever since I found your blog. Your not an ideologue like the Tea Party nuts on KSFO nor as boring as the new guy on 910 who is a leftover from KGO and hasn't even warmed the dial when, especially when his wife is one, which makes for an even less-entertaining show.
ReplyDeleteHave you heard the latest from your friend Melanie Morgan, and I'm paraphrasing?: "The FBI has NO RIGHT to investigate a CIA director."
Oh, really, Melanie Morgan? And what makes you the expert? The fact that you are an absurdly overpaid radio host without the intellect to be doing what you are doing, with your equally, as Rich says, mad scientist sidekick?
The gal that the sleazy female author sent anonymous emails to turned them over to LOCAL police who turned them over to the FBI.
Guess where I heard that, Melanie Morgan? Your own KSFO newscast when the national and REAL newscaster reported it. I know KSFO is trying to save money to have Melanie Morgan doing news, but it is unethical (even for radio, as opposed to print) to have a news reader do straight news who makes a living off of opinion.
Look up SPJ's code of ethics, if you don't believe me, and, yes, I belong, and have for several decades, and I've run radio stations and newspapers.
OK ... It's Monday almost 4pm ... What's the big news ?
ReplyDeleteI hope that it is evenings on KSCO!
