Daetz in as Solo Weekend Anchor at KGO-TV; Wang out, but stays as Field Reporter

Ama Daetz has been  hired as solo anchor for KGO-TV on the weekends, replacing Alan Wang, who is now a permanent field reporter.

Yes, presumably, visuals were considered.

  1. Rich, speaking of television, I'm watching The People's Court and Judge Judy on CBS' KPIX today. When all of a sudden - rudely, I might add - Roberta Gonzalez breaks in with a fund raiser for the Red Cross.

    Several times.

That's fine, and I'm sure the money will be put to good use (after sifting through several hands, of course).

What bothers me is these interruptions happen at the worst possible moment: during the critical part of testimony, the very reason I watch those shows.

My question is this, why couldn't these beggings be scheduled for commercial breaks?

And speaking of Judge Judy, have you noticed they've supplied Byrd-the-Bailiff with a stool, so he doesn't have to stand while doing his crosswords?

  2. I like Alan Wang better! He's cute, with a sly sense of humor. Love those dimples!

  6. Why do they need two anchors, one is good enough for me. My favorite Robin Meade.

    they are winning...and its sad

whats even sadder, is that as we have seen from the last election, the people have caught on to the bs that they are being spoon fed, and they aint buying it anymore...should cause a change, but it wont...

    1. The people have caught on? What, did you bump your head on America's lowered expectations? Had the "people caught on," neither one of these frauds would've won their party's nomination.

Obama is an embarrassment: intellectually inferior, possessing nothing more than the skills and poor character of an old south revival preacher. His wealth redistribution dream will redistribute nothing more than consequences, none of them good. The rich will buy from Congress more insulation, wages nosedive and services will evaporate, and the middle class will vaporize. Meanwhile, we will continue to send our brave troops into harm's way -- in service to Israeli hegemony.

As for Romney, he's a polished version of G. W. Bush: smoke, mirrors, and raw ambition. Mitt's proven himself capable of doing or saying whatever it takes, and in this election he was banking on one thing to get him over: his willingness to attack Iran on behalf of Israel. What he discovered in his loss was this: the growing political power of American takers and dreamers has now trumped the political influence of Zionists.

The people being spoon fed? More like a skip loader.

  9. I find it funny that Rich mentions Ama Daetz, then includes the statement "Wang out"! I see what you did there, Rich......not like I blame you, Ama is a hottie! Just remember Rich, she has a restraining order......what is the distance? 500 feet?
