ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with Rich's blog. Your blog reminds me of those lipo/botox/fake-tan chicks who are TRYING to look hot...who are going for the "LOOK AT ME!" approach. Real slick-looking--but nothing really new.
At least with Rich's blog, we get newroom gossip and innuendo. Sports? I go to ESPN, CNNSi, or MLB/NFL networks and blogs.

Some guy on flicker has a whole portfolia of local Anchorwoman (mostly)pics. Some very sexy pics of a nipply,bra less Sidney Kohara,other former KPIX people like Samantha Mohr and Erica Martin..and present like Julie Watts,Julliete Goodrich,Ann Malcovic, and Ann Notarangelo(vanilla)..but,drop dead gourgeous is Kristy Siefkin..lots of leg and curvy shots.

You are busted because the other night you were on Infinity or Chronicle live in one of 4 boxes on the screen with Cohn and two others and you did not talk like I described above.
More importantly you can't hold EDavis's jock. Your logic and rationale about EVERYTHING is dumber than any other jock in the Bay Area.

ReplyDeleteThose Flicker photos are great. I imagine those are done for the newsperson's professional bio shots to help up the sex appeal a little.
ReplyDeleteJuliette Goodrich, while attractive, always seemed to have that skier's tan that made her look like a raccoon at times. But she's smokin' in some of those shots. Sue Kwon and Elizabeth Wenger are some on my favorites in those photos too.
Samantha Mohr seems to be a photog fav. I guess she's still in the Bay Area with her Weather Channel gig?

Heather isn't sharing co-anchor weekend duties with John Sasaki on Ch. 2 anymore? Yeah, always liked Holmes too. Not everyone does. Never quite plays up to the peak of her beauty with the wardrobe though.

I agree on Jessica Aguirre. Not just on the looks. She's got that anchor presence as well and proof that you don't have to be 25 to be gorgeous in news. Sure, she's got them Joker lips but she's still a beautiful woman. Love them brunettes on NBC (Hello Laura Garcia Cannon!).
ReplyDeleteI like a lot of the folks on the local NBC channel actually. It is a shame they aren't doing better in the ratings. It goes beyond the beauty of LGC, Aguirre, and ladies like Janelle Wang and Christina Loren. Raj and Scotty McGrew are likable people as well. Sometimes what helps with the ratings is having a strong network slate of shows. Certainly with CBS being at the top of their game with ratings, that has trickled down to the local affiliate in channel 5, although their news team of Ken, Dana, Roberta, and Dennis are good too.
Rich, you should do a Before and After with pictures on some of these people like Sydnie Kohara and Darya Folsom. Their 90s photos look conservative with bigger outfits and shorter hair. Very much the professional Mom look. While everyone's current bio photos show longer hair and a sexiness. I know, everyone is trying to look sexy to keep a job but it shows how their beauty was downplayed in the 90s and how they've gotten hotter or just pushed that aspect today. Some real transformations.

Rumor has it that Tierney, Trump and Guliani were involved in three way sex when he worked on the East Coast. Shame Shame Brandon Tierney!!
Geez- why all the piling on on this poor guy Tierney? Hardly anyone listens to that station anyway! Their last rating was an 0.8 which is better than their first rating ( 0.0!)
ReplyDeleteTheir commercials lampooning KNBR are kind of funny ("the chimp says no!" and "KNBR, old and Tired!) I'd agree with both, although 'old' has a connotation that to me means, (venerable and experienced) which isn't so bad. So maybe "Lazy and juvenile" would be better for KNBR!
Unfortunately, outside of the Giants and
49ers broadcasts, almost all of KNBR's programming is dreck.
And what about 'The Game?' A bunch of
out of town newcomers who are mostly loudmouth know-it-alls or non-entities who don't know much about bay area sports, but try to fashion themselves as 'experts' and 'insiders.'
But at least they're trying!
@ tierney: don’t get get all butt hurt and mad at rich lieberman for pointing out that you are a horrible radio personality. i’ve listened to your show the last couple months (only because knbr’s shows are somehow more awful than yours) and you are by far the worst personality on 95.7. ED’s knowledge and talent on the radio are wasted while he constantly has to argue with you and explain to you the fundamentals of pro sports. we can hear the contempt he has for you in his voice. i don’t know who you blew to get on the radio in the bay area but since you’ve been here you’ve done nothing but talk shit about the local teams like the lousy east coast lowlife that you are. go crawl back into the new york sewer system that you came from you lowlife scumbag.
