Professional Cheerleader, Scott Reiss of Comcast Sports Bay Area

Scott Reiss

@ Yeah, rooting for the teams that drive my network is just plain silly

The response from Scott Reiss of Comcast when I called him out on Twitter for his open home-team rooting. The tweet speaks for itself. "...that drive my network?" Didn't know it was your network, Scotty boy.

No details on the where he keeps the brown toilet player.

  1. That's the big comeback answer now from the local bought and paid for media. At one time, that would have been forbidden journalistic behavior.
Now that they-KNBR and Comcast on air staff embrace that merging with local ownerships. So,they get whay they ask for when called sell out shills. But,they want it both ways don't they? Respect my great sports knowledge..while I use it to lie and spin for my employer. Uh-uh. Ain't gonna wash boys and girls.
You made your bed-now take your shots like you deserve.

  2. I don't like homers, but your gripe is lame, Rich.
It's simply common usage to refer to something related to their job with the possessive.

Scott:"Would you like to come to my company's picnic?"
Rich: "It's not your company! Screw your picnic!"

It is really more clear if Scott says, "Would like to come to the picnic which is being sponsored by the company for which I work?"

  3. And, really, Scott Reiss is hardly the only homer in the bay area, and hardly the worst one.

What got him onto your radar?

  4. Why are you so angry? The Giants just swept the Rockies. Be happy man.

Oh wait, you must be a Sharks fan. Sorry bro.

  5. Rich is clearly just jealous. If you looked like that wouldn't you be bitter.

Take your photo down Rich children might stumble upon this site.

  6. Reiss is just another jock sniffer with an utter lack of unique style or substance. Next for him: Sunday afternoon Cable infommercial hosting. Journalist.... my ass!

  8. Rich, you'd be right in a perfect world(or even this world just 5-10 years ago) but this exchange makes you look kind of petty...why expect more from this CSN dude i've never heard of than the rest of the bay area media? i think right after the Krueger event all the KNBR hosts got the message - watch the criticism, or else...
