KGO radio scores first Agassi interview; beats KNBR
KGO radio's Ronn Owens nabbed an exclu with Andre Agassi Friday morning; leaving all-sports KNBR out to dry.
Agassi, in town promoting his book, appeared in studio for an hour and took calls.

what is surprising about that? Agassi is on a book tour, thats what KGO does. He gets a full hour there, at best he would get maybe 2 segments at KNBR. I really doubt there was a tug of war between the two stations to see who got him. Besides nothing new here, he did meth, wore a wig, blah, blah blah, ....yesterday's news (a real insult to "news").
ReplyDeleteJust because it somehow involves sports doesn't mean its on KNBR. Besides Owens will do a better interview than anyone at KNBR.
oh, trust me, KNBR wanted Agassi first...another thing: KNBR is all-sports; isn't it embarrassing that they couldn't get him on GRad's show?
ReplyDeleteHis publicists knows Owens gets better ratings than Radnich and that sells more books.
