One of the biggest concerts in the Bay Area this year has just lost a significant draw. Maybe.
The Billy Joel--Elton John show at Oakland's Oracle arena, Nov. 14TH, is still officially on, but the British singer and pianist has postponed a string of concert dates due to a serious infection and flu, according to his official website.
The Joel/John performances in Seattle, Nov. 4th and 7th have already been postponed.
The Oakland show has been sold out for months.
**Another KRON4 news low light Saturday?
I didn't see it, but a friend relayed a story about KRON4 news show on Saturday night: "KRON's 9PM News was a 'disaster and at 11PM another repeat disaster last night. Teresa Estacio ran into many problems with the feed and equipment because they were not working. Teresa had to ad lib much of her newscast at 11PM and she decided to end the news early at 11:15PM."
Oops. Guess the song remains the same at 1001 Van Ness.
